and this is the "Pied Piper house" (as there is the Pied Piper legend at house from 1284:

when we came home after work, there was Mumu waiting for us:

I think we'll have a lot of fun with her..
tonight we'll go on a concert of Schandmaul (a german medieval band).. but my host mum said that she won't take a camera with us, as she doesn't know if it is allowed to make pics.. :(

Seggebruch, Germany - 30th November 2008

Hey Mum!
today we were at the parents of my host mum. They are living in Seggebruch, a small village between Bückeburg and Stadthagen. It has only 2000 inhabitants. But it rained most of the time, so spent most time in the house. We watched Harry Potter and played some games. Here you can see us on the crib of her parents:
http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v622/14/68/542673891/n542673891_1116571_3202.jpg

But we also took a short a walk through Seggebruch and made pics with the nature around:
http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-ak-snc1/v622/14/68/542673891/n542673891_1116573_4039.jpg

This is the evangelic-lutheran church in Seggebruch, which can be seen from far away:

and this is the house and garden of her parents.. I wish it would be summer so that we can relax in the garden.. ;)

Loccum is near Wasserstraße. It is not a big town, more a village, but it is famous for the abbey. There is also a pilgrimage road to Loccum which starts in Volkenroda. My host mum said, that two of her friend walked this way in September. It tooks 300 km..

Today we were in Stadthagen, a city in the district of Schaumburg. My hostmum lived here for 3 years and she also went to school here in her youth. We have seen some old buildings:
This is the castle in Stadthagen (built 1534), now there is the  financial office in it

This is the "Amtspforte" (built 1553), there is a museum in:
