It is great - I will start my travel on Saturday - and go to a nice trip to Madeira with a friend of RikeH.

Because the weather is so nice,
I decided to be outside.

After that, I hang around with my friend from Canada....

Then I played with the twins,
but we were too wild, so they lost their ears,
bad luck for the two bunnies. 

Today I leave to Tobi, and now I have two days in Hamburg, before we start to Madeira.

We cannot update my travel there, but will do it, when we are home again.

Tobi and I went to the airport for a late-night-check-in for his luggage. I don't have any luggage.....but that's okay for a ToyVoyager, I think.

Tomorrow I will start my first flight. I am so excited !!!

Today we arrived on Madeira and made our first trip with the motorbike – it is a BMW Roadster. Nice bike…. The airport is very famous for the piles it is built on – so we went there. The weather wasn’t that nice, but we  hope, it will become better soon. And look, we saw a wonderful rainbow.

This day we drove  over high mountains ( 1800 m) from the South to the North.
In Porto da Cruz we walked along the promenade and saw the swimming pool.

We started the day in the garden of the hotel and made photos of a bird-of-paradise. It ist he national flower of Madeira and beautiful ! You can see, that the sun  is shining. We didn‘ t swim in the pool, because we want to ride the motorbike again.
We drove to the plateau of Paul de Serra. Our goal was Porto Moniz in the North-West. On the way back we took photos at the highest cliff of Europe – 580 m high. But I was not afraid.

We took the way on the South Coast to the most western point of Madeira. It is the lighthouse Ponta do Pargo. I loved the lighthouse !

Although the tour was along the coast, it was very mountained, because the Villages and the streets were built on the sides of the hillsides.

Today we drove along the steep Coast on the northside. The water is very wild, when it hits the Coast.

I visited two churches out of the baroque era, they were very beautiful with much gold inside. Just like my heart !

Santana is famous for its funny houses with thatched roofs. It is very narrow inside – but not for me, because I am so small.

Today was another kind of day – because we took a walk along the water canals – called Lavadas – to the waterfall Caldeiro Verde. The Lavadas have a length of 2500 km all over Madeira, but we didn’t want to see all…

The way was very narrow – around 40 cm, not much for the humans, but enough for me, We went through dark tunnels – very exciting !!! We had a picnic in front of the waterful.

In the evening we met one of the other hikers in Funchal – it was great to see Funchal in the dark.

Our last day on Madeira. So we wanted to visit the beautiful gardens, We decided to go to Palheiro Garden (Blandy’s Garden) and Monte Palace Tropical Garden. It was great with so many colorful flowers. Unfortunately I was not allowed to eat them, but we spent a nice time there.

Now we are back again on the airport Hamburg.

Now I am home again - where Carlisle was waiting for me. We talked a lot and ate a delicious cake.

We made a nice walk around the big sea in Bad Segeberg - the weather was great and I just loved to be outside, because tomorrow I will go to my next host !
