Today i was allowed to join Ragnhild to her soccer match!
I was very excited, mostly because she was, she was a little nervous, but told me thats a good sign!
Here im in the dressing room
This is Griette, a very nice girl, we have talked before...
Here are the showers...
And this is their first aid bag, they all pay a little every month, and of that money, they buy stuff for the bag.
Even more stuff...i guess they really need it...
One of the ladies thought i needed to be helped...
...and i got sports tape all over me!
But don't worry, it was just for fun, and i wasnt really hurt
This is the soccer club logo!
Even better, the GIRLS team logo, check out the pony tails of the person on the logo!
Its a funny story behind that logo, its actually unique!
When they started with the womans soccer in 2005, they made this logo, more for the fun of it, without even asking the club if it was ok (make the extra pony tails on the person) and they were only gonna use it on tshirts, for fun.
But the sponsors printed the logo on the jackets and caps and all, if it was by accident im not sure of, but suddenly they had the logo all over, and the club was NOT amused :P hahaha
This is the soccer field where it all happened today...
The first players are arriving!
And ofcourse, everyone wants to be on the picture with me
Don't we look good together?
I even got a kiss from Jurrina! We really hit it off!
This is Onno, the leader of the team...
No pictures were taken while the game was playing, but i can tell you, that Ragnhild's team won 9-0!
Now THATS good results!
After the game we had some snack food in the kantine of DOVO.
This is the main soccer field of DOVO...
Had another lemonade, and then we headed home. Lots more to do today, no time to whaste!
Rocky, supporter of DOVO DA2!

After the soccer match and all, we were invited home to friends of Ragnhild and Freek, to have dinner, a drink and talk
Here we are cutting the bread...
I was allowed to help, but the knife was very sharp, so i didnt really dare...
We got Inge a little present, something she really likes
Im setting the table before we start eating.
Found this one on the fridge
The meat is ready and on the table...almost ready to eat!
Im starting to get used to cats now, they are friendly animals, most of the time...
This is Sores, it means "worries" in dutch, and is Inge's cat
We have started baking the meat, one long baking thing, and just stuff it with gooddies!
Mini burgers, mini sossages, mini...meat
Isn't it cutie?
All ready to eat
So much good food, too bad i have a little belly
After dinner, we had very good dessert, and i got to borrow a BT lift, to get them the cream!
The neighbours came for a very fast visit, and brought this, this is normal in Holland, when a baby is born, and then you put the colour of the sex on it, blue for a boy and pink for a girl. They had kittens, sadly two of them died, but one survived, and since they can't see if its a boy or a girl yet, both the colors...
As for dessert we had fruits...
And chocolate fondue!!!
Another cat that wanted to say hi, this is Nicky! (She hates the camera...)
And she was not very amused about the photo shoot
Me and Sores again, she looks really sad here!
Inge and her husband Arjan, was in Canada last year, and this is a little souvenir they brought back, just my size!
And they even had Norwegian TROLL's!!!
The rest of the evening is a blurr...im gonna let Ragnhild fill in the blancs, cause i have no idea what happened, i have seen the pictures, and im ashamed, and PROMISE to never, ever drink (that much) ever in my life, ever again!
Im so sorry mom!
Love, Rocky

This is the rest of the story from that evening, Rocky don't remember much, so i will tell you the whole story, with pictures, because, without the pictures, you probably will not believe your own eyes!
It started after dessert, Rocky got to have a little tiny bit of alcohol, just to taste. (Probably shouldnt have done that...)
And he must have been sneak drinking while we were not looking, cause he got REALLY drunk!
We didnt really notice much in the start, he was just really eager to be on the picture, and have fun. Made us make many pictures of him.
They had to be SPECIAL, cause he wanted to show his mom what a wonderful time he is having, cute!
Suddenly he started to get really bloated and got kinda fat...
Then he turned all pale and stuff, and then the weird stuff started...
He wanted to play, and Arjan put him on a air filled cussion of some sort, and he was THRILLED, when he got launged up into the air! He was going nuts!
Up in the air, time after time, again and again.
He couldnt get enough of it, and was screaming that he felt like he was flying, and he was the best and all...
He started biting on a leg, lying on the table, just randomly...
We made sure he knew what we though about leg-biting on the table...
After that, Arjan's guitar was quickly found, and Rocky was suddenly a STAR...
He demanded a smaller guitar, cause he could not CREATE on the big one, as he said, so we found him a smaller one, thought it was kinda cute, let him play you know...
He was really rocking it, little Rocky, and he was pretty good, and we told him so!
After the consert, he started making pictures of himself, he needed them for his fan's he said, for autographs and such...ok...
Stole a pen that Arjan and Inge had lying, and was all ready to sign his newly made pictures.
Suddenly he was out of controll, going totally crazy, doing exactly what he wanted to do, not listening at ALL to what we said!
He was a ROCKY ROCK STAR and we all had to do what he said!
Arjan really had to GRAB him, and shake him to get him down to planet earth, where the rest of us are living!
It was no talking to him, he was screaming, and kicking and telling us to put his important behind back down on the table, and he was gonna fire us all, and take revenge...
We seriously had to call the police, and they took him with them, and locked him up for a night.
We even got these mug shots as a little gift, after we bailed him out for €50 the morning after, then he was pretty tired, sick, not remembering a thing he had done, and very shamefull when he heard it all, and saw the pictures...
Ragnhild
(PS: No animals were harmed while writing this story and taking the pictures)

Dear mom
After a rough night, i was allowed to tag along for a walk, Ragnhild was going geocaching again, and i was very happy that i was allowed to join, after yesterday...
We talked alot during this walk, and all is good now.
We saw alot of funny things, it was a very fun Geocache, the farmer that owns the land here, has been very creative with his and other peoples old stuff, and is a real artist!
he makes lots of different fun sculptures, figures, houses, things to touch and look at and things that makes you curious and wanna touch and see more!
He owns the land himself, and there is a path between all the land, from one end to the other, where all these figures are placed, for anyone to see!
Its so incredible what he makes, how he things about it, how he comes up with it!
Its funny, childish, playful, beautiful, weird...all at once, and you can't stop looking and touching!
Haha
Trying to ride a bike, but this one was not made for biking
The farmer has sheep too
After a short walk, with a few waypoints, but not too difficult, we found the cache itself!
It had some toys in it, and ofcourse the log book for us to sign!
Signing the log
We were sitting in one of the houses close to the cache to log, since it was raining a little, it was several little houses along the route, so cute, and funny!
The cache was hidden in the silver milk can you can see on the middle of the picture, it was locked with a code, and to open it, you had to solve the puzzle along the route, to get the opening numbers
It was really fun to do!
This picture is from another cache we did today, only picture taken actually, we walked by this strange looking garden, with a lot of super huge lego pieces!
It was worth a picture!
It was a GREAT day, i LOVE geocaching, you see so much fun when you are outside walking and doing this!

Vaassen, The Netherlands - 2nd April 2010

Today we visited an old colleague of Ragnhild, he loves old radio's, buy them, repair them, and have lots and lots and LOTS of those things in the house!
He also loves to fix really old Jukeboxes!
This one is from 1967 (if i remember correctly!) and it can play, but one thing is broken, and its almost impossible to find, so you have to start the LP yourself by hand, but it works after that, and its really cool to look at!
This is how it looks like without the lights on...
And WITH lights on!
This one is even older than the first, from somewhere in the 50's
ORIGINAL, and this one works without any big problems.
Also totally fixed by the old colleague.
And...with lights on
Both are standing in his livingroom!
Its incredible to see, those HUGE machines, just to play a few records!
Look what you got now, smallest MP3 players, with THOUSANDS of songs, on a little CHIP.
And then you see these monsters from the 50's and 60's, you hear them work, see them work, see how much tecknology its in them, how many components is needed to make it work, and it works, its breathtaking, and you get goosebumbs while its playing!
Dancing to the really old jukebox! It was GREAT!

Geocaching!
The weather was SUPER, so we went for a walk, geocaching again, its starting to get very addictive mom
You see so many interresting places and pretty nature, its so nice to do
The Netherlands does not have much woods or nature at all, so little space, so many people, so they really appreceate the little nature they have, and takes good care of it, and the animals living there!
Some information about the area.
After we left Enschede, and came back to Elst, we saw a beautiful sunset!
We could really see the sun set while taking the pictures!
It was so pretty!

Ommeren/Dreumel, The Netherlands - 30th April 2010

QUEENS DAY IN THE NETHERLANDS!
About Queens day from Wikipedia:
Queen's Day is a national holiday in the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles, and Aruba on 30 April or on 29 April if the 30th is a Sunday. Queen's Day celebrates the birthday of the Queen of the Netherlands and is supposed to be a day of national unity and "togetherness" (Dutch: saamhorigheid). The tradition started on 31 August 1885, on the birthday of Princess Wilhelmina, later Queen Wilhelmina. Since 1949, after the ascension of Queen Juliana, Queen's Day is Queen Juliana's birthday on 30 April. Although Queen Beatrix's birthday is on 31 January, she officially celebrates her birthday on 30 April.
We celebrated it...with WORMS!
A whole gang of people from the pub Ragnhild and Freeks usually goes to, went on a traditional fishing trip today!
They have been doing this for 4 years now, and its very much fun, and very cozy!
Helping out fishing
Its just a little pond, not a big water or anything.
The owner has the fishes in huge water containers, and then he throw them in the water here when the people start fishing.
They throw out about 7 fish per person fishing, we had about 100 fishes thrown in!
Some people got 15, some got only 2, but ofcourse its random who gets what!
Beautiful fishie!
LOTS of them!
Special bate, not sure if it worked tho...
He didnt get any fishes while using this tho...
I didnt catch any fishes
The fishing lasted from 13:00 untill 17:00, and then we left for home, where Freek's mother cleaned the fish they caught!
She was very good at it!
But it really stinked
Ready to be fried in the pan, or go into the freezer
In the evening the pub was open, only for the fisher people, and we had lots of good food to eat, good drinks, and good music, to celebrate the rest of the Queens Day!
Its tradition to wear ORANGE things like tshirts, hats, crazy things, and whatever you can think of, orange is the dutch royal colour, and thats why they always use this colour to represent their country!
They also wear their flag with pride ofcourse, but if you see scating fans or soccer fans (check it out in South Africa this summer!!!), they always wear orange!
The banner sais "Queen" haha
It was fun celebrating Queens Day!
Love, Rocky
