back home from Canada – I found a parcel from Murph, my best friend. RikeH was too tired to open it immediately, so I decided to sleep on the parcel.

Kleine Fee and I had fun to open all gifts – so many great things. Liqueur, a ventilator, a funny flower, comfortable folding chairs and Birthday Candles. Not to forget the beautiful postcard of Murph! Thanks, my dear friend.

today we went to Bad Segeberg. There was a beautiful lake and a nice church.

we went to Lübeck – a very nice city in Germany. First, we saw the famous Holstentor and the storage buildings next to it.
Then we went onto a church tower and had great views over the city. Later we saw the city hall and other old buildings.

Hello friends,

we are on holiday at the North Sea. Today we walked on a dyke to the Eidersperrwerk.

It is located at the mouth of the river Eider near Tönning on Germany’s North Sea coast. Its main purpose is protection from storm surges by the North Seas. It is Germany’s largest coastal protection structure.

this is our holiday home. We like it.

Today we drove to St. Peter Ording and walked on the beach. It was so beautiful - but very cold.

And at the end of our walk we saw dark clouds. Fortunately we didn't get any rain.

This was Büsum’s first lighthouse.



We walked on the dyke and enjoyed the sunny weather.









It was a nice holiday at the North Sea.
