It was time to visit Hamburg – a beautiful city in the North of Germany. This is the town hall.



There was art in front of it. I met a nice lady from Scotland there. She is travelling with her Mum and Dad.



I went into the town hall and found a golden post box.

On the other side of the town hall i a nice fountain.





These houses are called the Alsterarkaden.



A tourist boat is coming.



I liked this view.

My last stop was next to the Alster. Hamburg is beautiful!

Hello friends,

Later I went to the Port of Hamburg – my first stop was at the Landungsbrücken.



I had nice views in all directions.





Far behind me you can see the Elbphilharmonie. I will visit it.

This is the Rickmer Rickmers – a beautiful sailing ship.





It is great to be here.



I want to take a trip on a boat like this.



This is a part of the new Speicherstadt.





Then we went onto the Plaza of the Elbphilharmonie. You can walk around an see a lot of the Port and the Speicherstadt.









I saw the TV-tower and the church spires of Hamburg.





This church is famous – called Michel.



My last view – I liked it here.

Great. We boarded one of the tourist boats and had views from the water.

it was my birthday. Because of the soccer World Cup I celebrated in in German colors.



The other sang a birthday song for me.



Whipped cookies in our colors!



But these muffins were self-colored. I liked them more.



I decided to become a craftsman.



I received the right gifts for it.

I am on holiday on Fehmarn Island. We live on this boat.



From the top there were nice views in all directions.

Today we drove to Orth, a village in Western Fehmarn. This sign was funny.



A beautiful old building.



Oh - a pirate.



I love lighthouses.



They have a big marina. But our marina has more places for yachts.





I saw some kite-surfers.



A beautiful flower – you can see how windy it is here.





Kaiser Wilhelm was here, I think.



We walked along the long harbor.



This gull was a shrimper.





It is a nice place here.







Back home I met another gull and talked to her.

Hello friends,

Today we went to Burgstaaken. There was a boat of the sea rescue service.





I went onto the bridge and were the Captain of the boat.





This is my crew.



Time to relax.

There was an open-air-bridge.



You need a smaller boat to rescue people in danger.



A submarine – I only took a photo from the outside.



This is the harbor for the fishermen.





The old pilot-house is now a restaurant.









You can climb in the silos – we didn’t want to climb.

Hello friends,

There are big tombs on Fehmarn – called Langbetten. We went to one of it.





The sacrifice stone was in the middle.



These stones were the guardians.



It was so interesting here.



Then I met a big slug.



We walked over a golf course.



Back home it was sunny and a nice view over the harbor.

Hello friends,

Burg is the biggest and only town on Fehmarn. Here you see the town hall.



There were many nice old buildings and flowers.











Burg is really old.





Even the palm trees celebrate the Soccer Worldcup.

There are some high banks on Fehmarn – I visited one of it.

It’s great to be on the beach.





Nice – but not so high.

Hello again,

We went to a restaurant in the marina and had delicious lunch. Then I visited this part of the marina.





This weekend they celebrate the Midsummer Bulli Festival. We saw many Billis here.



This one had funny eyes.





This one I like most.







Time for more food.



Burgtiefe has three tower buildings. They are not beautiful but surely you have a nice view out of the flats here.



Look – a monument. It looked nicer with me.



It is funny – the tower buildings are connected.





Even blossoms were here.



And a friendly sailor.



This was the best Bulli with the nicest size!

Hello friends,

We are in Puttgarden. Big ferries start here to Denmark. We should have a good view at the end of the mole.



There were the ferries – hopefully one of it will start soon.



There is one - the Deutschland.



It is so big – and go through the small harbor gate.





Look – the small white dot in the distance. It is a ferry from the other direction.



It comes closer.



It was exciting.



Now we will go back – it is very windy.



Maybe you can see it in the waves.



We made it to the mainland.



This is not another ship, but a shop. Scandinavian buy alcohol there on their way home.




No photos from inside, but it was really interesting. And I liked this great can!



At home I met the swans again. The mum didn't like us – and always spit at us….

It was our last day on Fehmarn Island and we went to the Südstrand.









We went to the Bullifestival. Many people were there



I loved the bullies with a cocktail bar.









On our way back I saw many old Volkswagen.



At home Kleine Fee and I had fun.



It was a nice holiday on Fehmarn.

Hello friends, time for the next journey – I take this ferry from Kiel to Göteburg.



Of yourse my girl-friend Kleine Fee comes with me – we find a nice place in the cabin.

How nice of the shipping company – it is great to be an internet star.



Enough place in the sleeping-room.



Another nice place.



Funny notes -they help the humans to find their cars...



Before we left I went onto the deck and enjoyed the sunshine.
