Travelog for: Tartan

Hello from Scotland. I am Eilidh's very first 'wild' TV and I will be released tomorrow for someone to find (hopefully) and update me!

I am Tartan, a small westie from Fife.



Eilidh made me a tag so that my finder will know what to do, oh how I hope I do get found and registered!



I am a little nervous about my voyage in to the unknown. I will miss me easy life here - and I will miss my identical twin brother Haggis. I hope to return home someday and be reunited with him.

Today at around 10am I was released! I am officially wild! I was left on top of the post box in Earlsferry, Fife, Scotland. Here I am in the position.



I sure hope someone finds me soon, it was a bit scary when Eilidh started walking away and I was left all alone.

Hi, i found tartan the other day on the postbox!
I've taken him back to Edinburgh with me and left him by blackford pond for someone else to find although i gave him some sunglasses for sunny Edinburgh :]
i hope someone finds him soon otherwise he'll be lonely!

Well I was lucky enough to be found by Martha, 18 months old, and I've had a lovely couple of days in Morningside, Edinburgh. I've taken in a couple of Fringe shows and had a great time playing with some of Martha's toys but it was time to move on today. Martha's mummy suggested that I visit the Pleasance Theatre as there were bound to be lots of tourists there and maybe someone would find me and take me abroad (hopefully to somewhere less rainy!). We were all very sad to say goodbye this morning.

I found Tartan at the Pleasance and took him with me to the Edinburgh Book Festival, where he met Ben Moor and sat drinking tea outside the Spiegeltent (I will post the photo tomorrow). A very nice lady from New York came and sat with us, and hopefully she will have taken him to America so he can complete another mission!

(Bad news is, Tartan's sunglasses fell off in my bag, I am very sorry. If we send off a Toyvoyager of our own, we'll put them on our toy so they still get to travel the world.)

This is the photo I couldn't upload yesterday, of Tartan at the Book Festival.

My mom was given Tartan at the Edinburgh Book Festival.  She was enjoying a beautiful afternoon and waiting for the storyteller, Ben Moor, to begin his show when she met 3 lovely women.  Because she is a teacher, she was asked if she would take him to the US;  she immediately agreed to bring him across the "pond" on a new adventure.  Tartan and I have been playing all day.  My name is Max and I am a maltese poodle.  I turned eight years old this August.  Tartan is doing quite well in my care.  In a couple of days he visit another family I think will enjoy his company.  So don't worry about Tartan.  It is bright and sunny in NY and he is loving every minute of it.  Love, Max 

Tartan was passed along to us for a visit.  All five of my children and the dog have pet Tartan and wish him well on his next adventure.  My regular computer is broken and we will not be able to upload any pictures, but rest assured we've taken good care of him and will pass him on to someone else so he may continue his journey.

We are having a longer visit and I am not lost ,just tardy .

Hi wow what a great visit we loved having Tartan , he was a perfect guest . He made many friends , with Summer a rabbit , mylo , lucas and blake . He also got to see what American kids do for school . And the beautiful country side of New York . Our whole family will be sad to see him leave and wish him well on hiis voyage .

Tartan took a wrong turn and is lost.  I am Max, the white maltese poodle from before.  I am having Tartan cloned so he can continue on his journey.  Stay tuned for the new and improved version of Tartan II.  You won't be disappointed! 

Hi!  I am Tartan II.  I've been cloned so I am a little younger and smaller than my brother, Tartan I.  Here I am in my new home on the window sill getting some sunlight.  I decided to sit on a plant because I love nature.  Max, the maltese poodle, paid me a visit so we could play together.  Did you know that  Halloween is around the corner so I decided to become friendly with a skeleton of the human body.  I'll probably dress up as his friend and go trick a treating on October 31st.  Vanilla ice cream is delicious!!!!

Tartan had a blast jumping in the fall leaves and playing with his new friend Sienna.
