Did you know that BC has its own Westminster Abbey?  It is nowhere near as grand as the one in England, but it is on top of a hill overlooking a valley and has a very interesting looking tower.



This is the church portion and the tower.



This is the seminary.

Granville Island is a downtown hot spot for local artists, and a very nice place to visit (It is also not a real island, but shhh!)



Grnaville Island overlooks False Creek (it is an inlet).  In the distance you can see the Burrard St Bridge, which is in the art deco style.



the most popular place to visit is the market.



It is full of places to eat, local foods, crafts, cheeses, candy, flowers and many more things.



We stopped for lunch and I decided on Indian food.

Harrison is a very pretty town in the Fraser Valley and it is on the shores of Harrison Lake.





Harrison is known for its hot springs.  I was not there to use the springs, but I was interested in where the springs originate.  To find it we had to walk around one side of the lake.



There was a new trail, but we decided to take the old one, because it looked more interesting.



Can you see those boards nailed to the tree?  Powerlines once ran along the trail.



This is the view into the forest.  It is very West Coast.



I saw this old water tower...



And went to have a closer look.  You can't really tell in the photo, but it was leaking hot water and there was steam coming out of the top.



There were many large rocks lying around and some of them are so old that the trees have grown around them!



Finally we came to the source.  There used to be a bath house here, but it burned down.

This pool was next to the monument and it was full of warm water.  Can you see the steam?





Afterwards, I stopped for gelato.

SunnyHH arrived today for its upcoming trip to Fiji with Abby.

Abby's car is very dirty, so we decided to help her clean it.

Um, I think these mitts are too big...



On second thought, this looks like a big job.  We'll just...supervise...

Hedgie arrived today.

I am on my way to my next host and I am so excited!

Hi MOM!!

I already arrived Bangkok, Thailand  . The weather here is very hot. Prim just introduced me to some for her toys, hope that we can be good friends during my visit here.



Then, I met Prim's son - Muk - 15 years old dog. It's almost midnight, so he is sleeping. Actually Prim said he always sleeps and eats 



Now it's time to go to bed. Here is my bed...not bad



Prim said I can go to her office tomorrow but not sure if she will have time to show me around since she is very busy right now.

Hi Mom,

Today I went to office with Prim. Before we left, we said good bye to Muk.



There are a lot of plants in the house  Prim's grandma is taking care of them. I think I will walk around the house later.



It's almost 11am, but the traffic was still bad. When a car stopped, I had a chance to take some photos.





Prim was very busy at the office. She put me on a chair, so I can watch she worked.

It's time to go home.

Today is Visakhapuja Day. People always go to temples but not Prim. Prim needed to pick her friend at the hospital, so we left home early.

We drove thru small tunnels. The traffic was good today because it's holiday morning.






Behind me is a BTS Sky Train. Prim tells me she will take me there someday 




Here is a hospital. Prim's friend was in operating theatre.



I took a nap while waiting.



We took the express way going back.




In the afternoon, we went to a Thai restaurant.



The menu is so big!!





I was not hungry, so I just played outside.







Elephant!!!





Tomorrow, we may go shopping...hopefully

Hi Mom,

Today Prim took me and Flat Stanley to have some photos, but when Prim turned on a camera, we realized that she forgot to insert a memory card ... but luckily, we still have a phone camera



We went to Starbucks Coffee.



The weather was very hot so I ordered Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino. It's great!!



Then, we went to supermarket. Look mom!!!! A lot of durians!!!



I also needed some fruit juices.




Before we went home, Prim took me to pay respect to Buddha image in our village.

In the evening, we had a spicy pork noodle. Look at the colour...it's very spicy but yummy~~

Hi mom,

Late night, Prim's big mama bought her something....he's funny face friend named...MuKu (Prim said it's from her dog's name - Muk). We took a picture together. Prim told me she will bring MuKu with me when going out, I'm so happy because I'm not alone anymore

Prim is trying to practice her photoshop, so she asked us to be models.




This evening, Prim took me and MuKu to a Vietnamese restaurant.



Vietnamese BBQ Pork looked very nice.



Fried Shrimp with Sugar Cane was so delicious



There is a cow image in front of the restaurant. Prim told me this restaurant pays respect to a cow but she doesn't know why

Hi Mom,

Today Prim's big Mama was going back to CA, USA so they took me to Suvarnabhumi Airport

Muku was also with me. We run to check the departure time at a board.



Muku asked me about my prior trips, so I told him about my last awesome trip in Canada.



We found many Suvarnabhumi's Giants...maybe about eight, I took photos with some of them.





Then, I saw the post office...I was thinking to write a postcard to you, mummy but I forgot to bring your address



On the way walking back to a car, we saw a small garden.



Before going home, we dropped at McDonald's and played with Ronald McDonald.

Where am I??



Here I am!! LoL!!



Muku also played with me.





We bought Cheese Burger set to eat at home

Hi Mom,

Today Prim had a early meeting so I stayed at home. After work, Prim bought me a club sandwich from Au Pon Pain.



While I was eating, I noticed something was staring at me. It's Devil Muk 555. He wanted to join our meal.

Hi mom,

Today we woke up around 10am...very late. Knock..knock a parcel came.



What are they??



They are Smurfs!!! Prim told me she used to have a lot when she was a kid but then she gave them to someone else. Now she realizes how cute they are so she decides to collect them again but it must costs a lot of money





Then another parcel came.



And......here is Baby Lican



Baba Lican was born in Hong Kong. He told me a little bit about his last trip in Brazil. We ate chocolate that his last host gave him.



I took a nap and dreamed about our journey this weekend.
