Travelog for: Alister Gator

Fort Kent, ME, united states - 21st March 2010

Hello Traveling Toy World!

I'm Alister Gator and live in wonderful Fort Kent! I know this is a strange place for an alligator to settle down, it definitely does not have the warm tropic feel we all like in fact it's like a frozen tundra nine out of twelve months yet it has a certain charm so for now I'll call it home.  B)

Bangor, ME, united states - 8th April 2010

Today we had to make a long four hour drive (there and back) to Bangor, Maine to pick up Becca's brother.
The day started out like any other in Fort Kent with the ground covered in a thin sheet of white.

After me and my pal Xrundel=) were all safe and settled in the car we were ready to start our journey.

Not too far out of Fort Kent we made a pit stop in another small town called Ashland. One of my fellow travelers got hungry, we did leave in the early morning hours and it was breakfast time for most.

From the road we spotted a post office unlike any I have ever seen before, very small and painted blue and pink!

Here you can see something very popular up here in Northern Maine. A Wood Mill.

At our last stop before getting on the highway, which you can see the turn for in the distance. We saw this sign and thought it was a bit funny it said "Save our roops." and "Low Rats" instead of 'Save our Troops' and 'Low rates'

It started raining before we got to Bangor. This is a mini-mall where we met Becca's brother.

Then we stopped for some lunch at Arby's while we were in line to order we decided that we'd rather eat at Olive Garden, so we got out of there fast!

We went to the mall and there was a store to make your own animals. Pretty cool!

Our final picture before heading back to Fort Kent. It was a great day even with the rain, at least it wasn't snowing!  B)
