Hello everyone!

My name is Pinito, I'm a little angel, as you can see. I live with my friend Noelia, since she was born. I was many times the guardian of her dreams....




Now, she has grown up, it's been 3  years. She have more toys, but she still like me very much  . I've become more experienced too, although I have pretty much the same size  . 

We all live in Costa Rica, Central America. There are a few local trips where I have been taken to, and I've liked very much what I've seen. There are mountains, volcanoes, beaches, and funny and friendly people!

I'm now ready to travel the world. Maybe could you host me some time? If you're interested, please PM anapatricia. Anyway, wish me luck!

Today was the day of my departure. I'm heading to North Carolina, to Pixiedustlady's place. First, I prepared my luggage:

Hi Mom!!!

Today I arrived in North Carolina!!! I had a super long flight but  now I am here and it is a bit colder then my home country of Costa Rica!!!  Today is New years Eve so I can say I was here in 2009 AND 2010!!!  Darcie and Steve loved the postcard, chocolate coffee beans and keychain!! I just wanted to pop on the computer real quick and let you know I am ok!! I am staying with a big group of TVs and we are going to stay awake to watch the ball drop in New York City on the television.  Happy new year Mom!!!!

Hello Mom!!!
As promised here are some of my photos of my big arrival day!

I was so glad to get out of my envelope! here I am as I wiggle out and say hi to everyone!



Here I am with my nice things that I brought from Costa Rica.  Darcie and Steve say Thank you!!




I hear a bunch of whispering and I turn around and see all the other TVs that are staying in the house.  They all introduce themselves and we sit around and talk about where everyone has traveled.  I show them the post card of Costa Rica and tell them all about it! There are not very many South American hosts on the TV site so they are excited to meet me!! I teach them a few words in Spanish and they teach me a few words from their country.  I learn Greek/German/Finnish/Dutch/Chinese and Russian!!




Tommorro my host has to go to the hospital to have a operation.  I tell her that since I am an angel that I will watch over her and make sure she is ok.  I am told that the next two weeks will not be very exciting updates but I will be busy watching movies and reading lots of books while my host gets better!!  we had BBQ Chicken and potato salad for dinner and now I am going to go watch a show called *Nip/Tuck* it is Darcies favorite!! Ill talk to you soon!!

Hi Mom!!!
Not much going on here right now! Darcie had a operation so we have been taking care of her! Today we saw our other host Steve getting out his *Alphas* what are Alphas? They are one of his Marine uniforms.  Today he has to check into a new unit and when you check in you have to be wearing your Alphas.  We help him pin on all his ribbons and he explains what all of them are for!  We look proud in this photo with him!!



After he leaves we go in the kitchen for some Caramal Drizzle Coffee!  Darcie likes to put LOTS of sweet stuff in her Coffee so it tastes good!!  I tried the Hazelnut creamer and its yum!!



Next we see this round, lumpy thing.  It is called a Bean Bag and you can lay in it and watch TV.  As you can see Darcie is a HUGE Atlanta Braves fan!!! she tells us Baseball will be here in just a few months! Go Braves Go!!



Next we go over to the huge movie selection.  We are going to start watching *Dexter* today!! This is one of Darcies favorite shows and she likes to buy the sets so she does not have to wait week after week to see what is next!  This is about a police officer named Dexter and it is filmed in Miami. Florida.  So far it is really cool!!



Next we all get under the covers and then we have to move Darcies Chihuahua, Sombrita, out of the way! Now we start watching the movie!!  hope you are having a nice weekend!!

Hi everyone back home!!

Today two new TVs arrived!!  They got here at dinner time and I am glad because my hosts were doing BBQ Chicken on the grill and it smelled sooo good!!



I go inside with the other toys and get my dinner ready!



Next I go grab a ice cold Corona beer!!  We are watching a movie tonight called *Outside of Providence* it is suppose to be really funny!!




I am nice and safe and just wanted to say a big hello!!!

Hi mom!!

Ciao! Today is Super Bowl Sunday!!! That means everyone in the USA will be gathered around the TV to watch the big football game.  We are having a super bowl party and we plan on eating lots of yummy snacks.  The two teams that are playing are the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints.  This will be the first time ever that the Saints have been to a Super Bowl.  We are excited to watch all the funny commercials.  Air time for a commercial during the game is 3 million dollars for a 30 second spot.  A new TV arrived yesterday.  Her name is Dottie Grace and she is a Giraffe from Australia.  Here are a few shots of us meeting her!!  I just got done eating a bowl of Lucky Charms and now I am going to prepare for the big game!!

Hi Mom!
Today was Super Bowl Sunday!!!  It is the NFL championship game.  Almost everyone in the USA gets together and eats lots of junk food and watches the game.  The first thing we do is get on the internet and go to a Las Vegas Bookie and place a bunch of bets.  We are going to try and win some money!!





After we place our bets, we head to the kitchen and pull out all our yummy food! We have mini Corn Dogs, Chicken Fajitas, Jalapeno Poppers,  Nachos, Mozzarella Sticks with Marinara sauce and ice cream.



Here we are with our yummy Nacho dip.  We made it with hot peppers and Velvetta cheese.

We all fix our own plate and head off for the couch so we can eat and our hosts explain the Football game and tells us the commercials will be fantastic!!!

I have exciting news! I have completed one of my life missions!! Last night my host turned on the news and showed us that a big snow storm was coming!!!  Snow is very rare in this part of the state! It started snowing around 8pm and when we woke up the next day it had snowed 8 inches!!  Here we are looking out into the backyard.  The snow is just beautiful and my host wishes it would never melt!!





We all go out in the front yard and crawl into the show for a photo!!




Next we go over and pose by the rose bushes.  The snow was sooo cold!



Next we all decide to pick teams and have a snowball fight!!!!




Who do you think is going to win?? we have fun throwing them back and forth in the yard all morning long!



This was my first time seeing the snow and tonight it is going to drop down to freezing level so we can have a bit more fun tommorro!!

I just wanted to say I have been having a great time! Today two new TVs arrive and I help everyone greet them as they arrive at the house! This is Klaus and Pyio!!

Last weekend we went on a trip with the car club to what is called a *Poker Run* all the cars went around the area and stopped at different places and pulled a card.  We had five stops.  The one with the best hand won $100.  Here we are with my host's 1955 Porsche Spyder.  When no one was looking, me and the other TV  took it out for a drive! I love to go fast!! hahaha




Our third stop was at a hot rod shop called *Bugsys* we had fun looking at all the cars inside the building.

I am having a fantastic time and the weather is nice.  Today was 75F and tommorro is suppose to be the same!!

My owner said a few months ago that I would be going to Florida. I hope my owner gets me moved soon.  I am now being removed as being hosted by my current host so I do not show up on her hosting list anymore.

I am here in Florida!!



Greeting me are my new friends, Mocha, who lives here, Sniff and Snuff, two puppies, and Thiele the pelican. 

I am so excited, and I will tell you more about my adventures in Miami soon!

Today we go to a big birthday party!!  It's the 114th birthday celebration for the City of Miami!!



It's held at the Miami Arena, where they hold concerts and basketball games.



The arena is by the bay so we can't take a real picture but here's a wall poster of how it looks like.



On the way to the arena, there are a lot of displays.  I guess these are basketball signed by famous players?

Restaurants are giving out samples of their dishes.  We try a little bit of everything and go back for seconds.  And thirds...





The library is giving away free books to promote its annual book sale.



Miss Miami and Miss Teen Miami have also joined the party!!



They are signing the huge birthday card.  We get to put our names on it too!



Of course a party can't do without a band and some music!



And a big birthday cake!!  What a blast!!

Weather has been very hot lately so we mostly stay in the house.  Today we decide to try our hands in the kitchen again.  This time I learn to make dumplings.

First we gather the ingredients.  We are making vegetarian dumplings, so we have carrot, tofu, mushroom, woodear, ginger and pickled cabbage.



We start by chopping up the ingredients into little pieces.



We mix them all in a bowl and season them with soy sauce, pepper and sugar.



We put a spoonful into the center of a dumpling wrapper sheet, and then seal the sheet into a dumpling.



I think mine is the prettiest. 



We work hard to get a platetful of dumplings!! I am hungry already.



We boil the dumplings with noodles and vegetables to make a nice bowl of noodle soup!  Doesn't it look delicious?
