Travelog for: Bombus

Today we opened 11th door in advent calender and we still don't see any snow outside.It's raining and raining.More looks like autumn.. we can't wait for snow.Hopefully we will have white Christmas.I just heard that we are going to spend Christmas in Estonia with Mari's parents.Sounds great !

We got to Estonia right before Christmas and we were happy to welcome Leoshek,she arrived from Germany.I hope I will have lots of fun with Leoshek,Mumu and Brinda  during our holiday.

It's only one day till Christmas Today we were doing some last minute shopping and later wrapping the presents.I could help a bit! Now it's relaxing time and  our host played in Facebook..

Today is Christmas here and there's no snow outside,actually okay there is some,but it doesn't feel like  Christmas at all if you look out of the window,more like late autumn or something.But inside it looks like Christmas!..Christmas decorations,rooms are cleaned and Christmas' smells.
In Estonia there is tradition to go graveyard on 24th December to put candles to your dear one's who are dead for their memory,that they can have light on Christmas Eve.I could join with Mari,she lighted candle for her great-grandma,great granddad and great-greatgrandma.The graveyard was really beautiful in dark with all these candles.


Then we walked back home and we had also  Christmas table set and food ready,we could enjoy the time around family and we toyvoyagers decided to join.

After Christmas dinner a bit later was time to exchange presents.

Here it's tradition to sing,read a poem or do something in order to get presents =D So you had to read 5 poems or sing 5 songs if under the tree were 5 presents for you,if more presents,more poems =D You are just used to know Christmas poems or songs !

Hi mommy!
After Christmas Eve my host got ill and I sat with Bombus and Leoshek on the table with other toys.It was a bit boring though.. but now when my host is better again we will do something.I am a bit sad that we couldn't go some sightseeing in Rakvere,but maybe some other time

Today is last day of the year 2011.We will eat dinner soon .. nam delicious! = ) We will probably watch some special New Years Eve TV programme and later go outside to see some fireworks.

Many people thought that we don't get any snow at all,but finally started to snow,first it was few,but soon there was lots of snow.

Today we thought it would be cool to do a snowman,because there's no winter without a snowman! As spring seems to get closer by each day it was the last chance to do it.

What about a snowball fight? Mumu and Brinda agreed and it started.

Snow is melting away and we were thinking it would be exciting to go walking around the lake and look the snow and ice situation there.

Today we took a train to Helsinki,because Mari was going to do some shopping and we thought it would be cool to look around in some famous places which all tourist go to see.

and then we walked to Market Square as we wished to see sea and noticed some boats there.

Hello mommy!
As summer has not been the warmest here,we haven't got time to go beach,actually the weather has been quite bad.But slowly summer starts to get into winter and now we are into picking berries and making hay.Our host got 2 chickens for birthday from her friend.Somehow chickens need to alive winter,so we helped host.In the picture you see us only sitting,but we did help too ; )
