Hi Mum,

we made a trip to a small city today. RikeH went to school there – years ago.

First we went over a bridge – to go into the town center.



This ist the townhall with a wonderful fountain.



This view is wonderful.



There are nice old houses here.



We saw the river again.





It was a nice day!

Hi Mum,

Charlie will go to his next host soon. So we wanted to celebrate his last evening.

We had a delicious salad.




Here you see us all together.



Then we had a barbecue.



It was really delicious – I ate a lot!



Then it was time to say good-bye to Charlie. .

We gave him a big hug.

Hello Mum,

We went to a nice little park near to Sülfeld today. It is called Naturerlebnis Grabau – and it was really interesting.





We learnt a lot about the trees in the forest and other things. But I like
most a nice place next to a lake.





It was really a great time there.

Hello Mum,

the weather looked sunny – so we jumped in RikeH's bag and went to Hamburg with her.

Here you see us in the train.



First I looked out of the window...



...then I helped to write some postcards.



In Hamburg the weather wasn't so nice, but we went to the Town Hall. A wonderful building.





We went to the other side of the Town Hall.







On the way back to the place where RikeH works we saw these nice Arcades.



In the evening we went to see a game of handball.This is outside of the hall.



And here you see me inside.





Our team won 31:19 – it was a great day and evening!

Hello Mum

It is Sunday and we made a nice trip to Bad Segeberg, a nice small town.

On the way we stopped next to this field of rape.



The yellow is beautiful.



We went to the Lake – can you see the Monument? It is an Apache.



Here is the Lake – and we have sunshine today!





After the walk went to eat some icecream – it was delicious.

Hi Mum,

we drove to Hamburg with RikeH. We had the plan to visit the Cruiseship Terminal – a nice ship will be there. But first RikeH had to work and I explored the office. Funny guys are living here:



And these Easter Bunnys. They were out of chocolate, but I was not allowed to eat them.



The it was time to go to the Terminal. Look what happened – the ship was in the wrong direction for a nice photo. I would have loved to see the front.



So I looked over the Port.



We walked over the ground there – two nice buildings.





We managed to have another look at the ship – but it was not so easy -  and I made a little nonsense, when RikeH tried to take a nice picture.





We went to a playground and played on this great ship.



After playing I was able to make some more sightseeing.
There are nice new and modern buildings in this part of the Port.





Here are new buildings and old ships – really interesting.






They will build a big theatre for classical music. Here were some informations about it - and you see me here – listening to some music.





We went back to work – to tell the truth, only RikeH worked – but on our way we saw these beautiful old buildings. Hamburg is a really wonderful city.

Hello Mum,

it is Saturday evening and we went to Hamburg again. RikeH told us that will go into the CCH – and see a funny man. Well – we were so excited.

But before we went to an Australian Restaurant. I had a delicious cocktail – it was called Mai Tai – have you ever heard about it? It was so yummy...





...but very strong for a little Toyvoyager.





We went into the theatre – and found out that we were not allowed to take photos.
But one should be okay, before it started...





Mum, I had so much fun and laughed a lot – and not only because of the Mai Tai.

Back home we had a look in the web – and look – this was the funny man – called Jürgen von der Lippe.





A nice evening. It is great to be a Toyvoyager.

Hello Mum,

Some new guys arrived in the last days. To celebrate it we had a big barbecue. Look – so many different kinds of food.



It was so delicious!!!



After it we went into the garden and found so beautiful lilac.

First the white one...



then the purple one.



After it we played a funny game – it is called Plumpsack – we had so much fun -
you see me running aound the others – a great afternoon.

Hi Mum,

I will travel to my next host tomorrow, but I wanted to see the Port of Hamburg before I leave. Fortunately we had great weather today – and went to Hamburg. We are a lot at the moment – here you can see us.

I looked out of the train window – it is beautiful out there. I even saw horses.



Here you can see me in front of the famous church Michel in Hamburg. RikeH loves this church.



And there was this funny statue next to it.



Later we went to the Port. There were a lot of ships.



The white ship is the Cap San Diego – in the other direction you can see a big sailing ship – called Rickmer Rickmers.





Two other nice views of the port – I really loved it.





Home in Sülfeld it was time to say good-bye. First I had a long talk with Dicker Kumpel – he was such a great host.



Look – this is Tobbi, the TV of RikeH's Mum. He will travel with me, so it won't be a boring trip.



The others gave me a big hug –



and now I am on my way to the UK. I will write soon.

Hi Mum....

I've made it to England with my travelling buddy Tobbi who shared my packaging and made the journey with me ...it was nice to have the company..



.....Another TV also arrived today so I am currently making friends with Pammy too, who has travelled from Finland to be here....




Anyway, I'm safe, happy and looking forward to my adventures here in England... after a good nap that is!

Hi Mum,

My host had to pop into town for a course today so I decided to go with her. The weather here has been on-off raining and a bit grey - not ideal for TV adventures! However, before we headed home after her course we did make a few stops around Kings Lynn.

We stopped at Kings Lynn Docks.. where a statue of Captain George Vancouver stands overlooking the river ''Ouse''...





...Opposite this is a huge old building that has boarded up windows... but the boards have artwork on them! ...



.....Here we are at Saturday Market Place... my host said Kings Lynn also has a Tuesday Market Place on the other side of town..



Around Saturday Market Place are a couple of very pretty buildings, for example
behind the sign above stands this building...The 12th century St Margarets Church...

In 1741, a big storm blew down the original church spire and it was replaced by the later tower....



As well as your average clock on the building... it has a Moon clock which reveals the phases of the moon and also the time of high tide at Kings Lynn, clever eh?


Well Mum, I better be going for now. My host really wants the sun to come out
this weekend so we can do some proper exploring and we can take lots of
pictures for you to see - fingers crossed!

Hi Mum,

My host would like to apologise for the little delay of this travelog post as this was our trip out last Friday and she hasnt had an opportunity to post the pictures for you until now...

As you saw in my last post I had been exploring Kings Lynn, well the next day we took the bus back there to finish exploring one more place in the area ...



....the place we went to was ''The Walks'' which is a huge well-kept beautiful park outside the town centre....



.......in its grounds there are lots of things to see... this was my favourite part.....the view from the bridge..





....We decided to sit by the river for a while as it was very peaceful...



...you couldnt hear a sound.... well actually you could hear one sound.. the sound of quacking ducks!



Well that was how I spent my friday.... my host has had a bit of a hectic past week so she is slightly behind with things but assures me she will be posting again for us very soon...

Hi Mum!

I hope you are well and enjoying your day  

Well incase youre wondering whether we did get any sun at the weekend here,
we got a little... but only on the Saturday. We made the most of it and spent
the time at a local village BBQ... my host unfortunately didnt get a chance to
take photographs but I had a lovely time. The food was delicious, we all made
paper boats to sail in the river and they had set up a huge zip wire line from
the top of a hill to go across the river too, It looked very high so my host and
I just watched other people go down it!!

Well, today my host went swimming at the local pool and I helped her pack
her bag with all the things she'd need... before hopping into it myself for the
journey 



...When we got there, us TVs decided to keep safe, warm and dry and stayed
in the changing room locker to have a chat while our host did all the swimming....



We spent the evening indoors.. it was a little cold to go outside... there was a
very pretty evening sky though...




Well, My host and I hope to post again very soon.

Hello!

Today I've been to Peterborough mum, we had to go on a double decker
bus to get there... my host let us sit on the top deck to look out of the
window during the journey... it was quite a long way...



We had to go through another town called Wisbech on the way.. heres a
pretty church we spotted on the way into Wisbech....



....we had to make a stop at Wisbech bus station to pick up more
passengers.....



...then we were on our way again... at the moment due to the football,
everywhere you look you see England flags - on cars, outside pubs, in
shops and hanging off houses!





...When we reached Peterborough we walked around the shopping
centre, my host bought a few postcards and a little gift for me to bring
home after my trip here.

After stopping for lunch, we took a wander outside the shopping centre
and found these fountains...



...we then walked through the archway shown in the photo above and
there stood this HUGE building, its Peterborough Cathedral...



...Well Im going to have a relaxing evening in now
but I'll post again soon, take care...

Hello Mum,

Today we ventured down to the seaside at Great Yarmouth.
Our first stop was at the Sea Life Sanctuary.... I spotted some
Penguins!





...I also saw crocodiles, jellyfish, rays, starfish, a sea turtle...and
this..SHARK!  *GULP*



..After the Sea Life Centre, we stopped for lunch at Harry Ramsdens
world famous fish and chip shop... from our table we had a view of
the promenade...



...With full tummys we then took a walk on Britannia Pier... the sea
looked very rough from where we were standing! ... you could
see wind turbines spinning on the horizon..



..it was a very windy day..so look... no one on the beach!



....For some reason today, lots of people had come down to
Yarmouth on vespas and had parked them in long lines down
the promenade... this Union Jack one was my favourite..



Well mum, im so tired after lots of walking around today... its
Fathers day here tomorrow so Im going to go and help my host
