Travelog for: Citrus the Tall

I am Citrus the Tall. Mummy intends for me to hitch-hike across the world starting end of April or beginning of May 2010, but first, she'll show me a bit of the area where she lives.

Last week and today, Mummy took me for walks around Caernarfon. Last week, the weather wasn't all that great but mummy took some photos. Today, there was a blue sky interlude ideal for a longer walk.

This is a new fountain thing on Y Maes, the town's main square. On warmer days, children rush through trying to avoid the jets of water.

This is Caernarfon Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built for King Edward in Gwynedd in the 13th century.

The castle is right next to the River Seiont. A swing bridge crosses the Seiont to allow pedestrians to cross (and a good place to take photos from). The bridge swings to allow bigger boats to go in and out of the Seiont harbour.



People cross the bridge to get to Coed Helen park. There is a community golf course.

Time to head back into town.

Where has your head gone?
Back on the castle side of the Seiont, and opposite the castle are council offices, and the old courthouses.

I think this is the old magistrates court.

And this is the old crown court?
The courts have moved outside the town centre to a new all-purpose building.

I am excited about being released in Llandudno today. I hope someone finds me.
