Travelog for: Lightning Jones

Today we went to the shoppingcentre. Ellen wanted to buy a goldfish, so we needed a lot !  A fish bowl... fish food... small stones... twigs....

In the afternoon we had collected everything and we went to the Pet Shop for the goldfish. Ellen said I could pick one and she did too. I picked a black fishie.... so cute!

So at the end we bought two fishies. My fishie is called 'Wimpie'  and the orange one wich Ellen picked called 'Kareltje'.

Ellen had to work at Holiday On Ice. That's a huge Ice-Skating-show, very famous around the world. They are bussy with a tour through the Netherlands and Ellen is working at some city's. This time it's Den Bosch. And lucky me...... I was with her! It was forbidden to make photo's inside cause of the copyright on the show.... but we made a photo with a truck-trailer !! 

Wubai, Ellen and me went to a meeting from Postcrossing today !!! It was in the north of the Netherlands (Leeuwarden), so we had to travel a long time. There where 14 other postcrossers and it was really fun. We went to a few card-shops and saw ' Sinterklaas' !!! Sinterklaas is a traditional, we celebrate it on 5th december. The story is that Sinterklaas shares his stuff with poor people (children) and get some help from 'Zwarte Pieten' to get all the stuff at the right persons.  And today was the day that he arrived in the Netherlands

Well, as you can see on the photo: we signed a lot of cards during the meeting !

Today we are sooooooo lazy ! We slept a long time, still tired from yesterday! So we decided to eat jummie sandwiches and write a card to home... I think they'll miss me. Ellen is helping me with the writing, she learns me some dutch words  

This evening we are going to eat with my roommate, fun!

This weekend we visited Ellen her parents. It was only a short visit, cause the internet broke down   And Ellen needed that for some study-stuff.... So we travelled about 4 hours on friday and did go back on saturday (another 4 hours by train!)
