Travelog for: Grouchy

At the end of the beach, a lot of colourful mosaic sulptures were built.

Quite a number of animals' skeleton were shown, even a dinosaur!
(Glad that there's no smurf's skeleton in the museum...)

Hong Knog Heritage Museum locates in Shatin,
we know some past history of Hong Kong here.

There's also some exhibits about the Chinese Opera,
the costumes, accessories, musical instruments and props and so on.

Today is the Wedding Day of Kate and Prince William. 
We are all so excited for the live broadcast,
since we are in Hong Kong, it's 7 hours faster than United Kingdom,
we spend our time on guessing the wedding dress and the crown,
can't wait for that!

Finally it's 6pm (11am in UK), the guests are all ready for that! So do we! 

Wish them happily ever after!

We really need to talk. Soon. Where did you send me? Is this a nice place here? I don’t think so. I thought maybe I am alone now and can enjoy my life finally, but then I came out of the envelope and there were other toys. I am not alone. NOT ALONE!



And what did you do to me? My host is called BlackCat. Mum…BLACK CAT! Here is not even a cat. At least I didn’t see one and they have no cat toilet, so I think there is no cat. So, why did you send me here?



Now I have to stay here…thanks a lot…*mumble*

And BlackCat didn’t even know my name in German. Can you believe that? She had to look it up…

can you believe that? We went to a farm with thousands of pumpkins outside and instead of buying them all, we had to go over it with BlackCat and had to wait until she chose ONE pumpkin out of thousands????

Oh my god...when we welcomed Spiker I wasn't feeling good already. And then I wanted to go out, but BlackCat said NO because it was hailing...mum...can you please tell her that I go out whenever I want that?





Okay, she was right, it was hailing...but after that I could have go out, or?

today we went into the city. I wasn't really in the mood, but who cares? No one here asks me if I want to join them or not...so I went with them and had to pose for some photos which I will show you now...



Some history for you:
This house is the so called „Stammhaus“ from Alfried Krupp and his family. It was totally destroyed in the Second World War, but 1960/61 an original rebuilt was built only 100meters away from the original place. It is a symbol for the beginnings of the Krupp factory, which made Essen to the city it is now.



This is a picture which shows some work of the steelwork.



This is the new building of Thyssen Krupp.



We even walked closer *yawn*. It was so boring...





Just a view over the area...you can see the tv tower in the second picture.



The black house in the background is the town hall...the one in the front is a car seller. Will show you some pictures of cars we saw there later.



There you can see what is right next to the car seller. A furniture shop, Ikea and McDonalds (not sure if you can really see all three things on this picture, but they are there, I promise!).

What a bad walk mum...it was sooooo boring. But I guess you like the photos, or? At least I hope so as I don't know why I am forcing myself to be on this pictures if you don't like them...

BlackCat decided to show us some German cars when we were at the car seller. So she asked her boyfriend which of them are typical German cars and made photos of us with the cars...

Now I can show you the pictures, but please don't ask what kind of car it is...BlackCat doesn't know it at all. Maybe she can tell if VW or Audi, but I guess that is not so difficult as it is written on the car...she will ask her boyfriend later to tell her which car is which and we will maybe reupdate then. Now to the photos (girls and cars...*rolls his eyes*).

Oh my god...today we went into the centre of Essen and all BlackCat was able to show us was this light picture...I can tell you, that's no fun. We saw a firework, but she wasn't able to make photos of us while watching it and now we need to be okay with that...



(She says I should add that this is one of a lot pictures of the light weeks. She wasn't able to visit every picture with us, but maybe later. We'll see! The light weeks are always in Essen from the end of October to the end of the christmas holidays, which is usually in the first week of January!)
