Woof! Or "Boof!" if I want to scare you
I arrived in Finland and FosterCareHome because my host couldn't contact my owner and so on and so on. I don't care as this seems like a nice place! Maybe I can have a look around The weather is nice and warm too.

At work, Holland - 15th September 2011
By: Braveheart Sam
Still here in Holland!
Today I went with mom to her work.
She works with mentally challenged adults. They were very nice to me!
What to do first? Making a flag or helping to make an apron?
A flag! First I need to draw a mold on the fabric, than cut it.
Ready!
Now the apron. But I'm too small!
Let's just watch what everyone is doing over here.
Nice...
This is called smyrna, knotting a rug. What a work!!!
Aaaah, a tiny kiss from Mia!
Well, I don't know the english word for this, but it is going to be a long chord and the little flags are being threaded on the cord.
Well seen enough, time to leave Holland! But where to?
I just found out it's going to be California, USA!
Whoohooo, land of Halloween!!!! Hope to join a party, go trick and treating, seeing lots of pumpkins... Nice!

Ventura, USA - 6th October 2011
By: vyl87
Hello,
Today I arrived in Santa Paula. I met another tv that is also being hosted here. We went to a few different places. I am really enjoying my time here and getting to know Sheela. It was still bit cold and windy today since it rained yesterday, but the sun was still shining bright at the beach.
At the Marina Park beach there was a big ship named San Salvador. We also found a statue of a beautiful mermaid. The mermaid statue was a gift from Russia. I think that was very nice gift. We found a bench and sat there for a minute watching the waves. It was very calming. The sand was warm to walk on the pebbles warm to lay on. I wanted to take a nap there for a bit.
We also had time today to look for one geocach. So we look at the GPS and decided which one would be closer for us to find. I was very excited when we found it.
My host found a huge tangerine and I just had to get a picture with it. It kind of looks like I'm sitting on a pumpkin doesn't it?
Hope you're having a great day,
♥Lester

Ventura, California, USA - 9th October 2011

Mum,
Hello, Today we went for a short walk at the Arroyo Verde Park. We took the Jerry Revard Nature Trail. Some parts of the trail were a bit steep and made me a bit tired so we had to stop and rest on a tree limb.
Later today we went to down town Ventura and I got a picture on the water fountain and a few other pictures. Walking there made me feel a bit sad because I saw many homeless people there, but my host let me know that the city is doing things to help them out, so that made me feel a bit better. We also found new store that had many day of the dead items. We'll have to go back before I leave so I can get a souvenir.
Cant wait to see what tomorrow brings. It will be an early day since my host goes in to work at 5 in the morning and she will be taking us with her so we will be ready to go when she gets off work.

Hello,
Today we started working on the christmas lights. My host used her phone to take pictures so I was able to upload some pictures and make an update. I am doing great and was told next week will be going to the oil museum.
First we had to get all the christmas lights out of the storage shed. After we did that we had to plug them in and make sure they all still lit up.
We got few new lights this year. We put up few and will finish the rest tomorrow. Then I will get a chance to get a picture at night with them all lit.
Til later,
Lester

Today is Christmas. It is a bit cold out, but I'm told its not as cold as other years. We had Posole for dinner. It was hot and very tasty. All the gifts this year were just for the kids. It was a nice family time. I enjoyed watching them open their gifts and seeing the joy in their faces.
Happy Holidays!

Disneyland, usa - 3rd January 2012
By: vyl87
Hi,
I am very excited. Today we went to Disneyland. It was hard to get many pictures because many rides did not allow flash photography, so quite few of the pictures that were taken are a bit dark.
We just got home. It is late and we are all very tired but i just wanted to make sure to upload at least one picture of Michel and I outside the small world ride. The rest will have to wait until after a good nights rest.

Disneyland, Usa - 4th January 2012
By: vyl87
Hello,
Here are the pictures from yesterday at Disneyland.
First we went to Disney California Adventure. There was a lot of people so we didn't really get to ride many of the rides because the lines were so long.
The first ride we got on was California Scramin'. It is a high speed roller coaster. I was very excited to ride it. I got a quick picture in the seat, but then my host had to put me a way in a safe place to that I wouldn't fall out. That ride was very fast and had a few drops and a loop.
After that ride, we walked around Paradise Pier. They had many game booths and stores. We wanted to ride Mickey's Fun Wheel, but the line was too long. The wait was over an hour, so I just got a quick picture with it.
After a bit more walking we were feeling a bit hungry and decided to eat at Boudin Bakery where we got Creamy Broccoli and Cheddar in a bread bowl. It was quite delicious.
Once we were nice and full we went to "A Bug's Life" to get a few pictures with the statues there. Everything was over sized there which made it very fun.
We rode the Monsters Inc. ride, but it was too dark to get any good pictures.
At the Disneyland park there was way more people and even more longer lines. We walked around and took a few pictures.
We rode the Buzz lightyear ride. It was fun and entertaining.
The last ride we rode was the Small World ride. That ride was very pretty and it was fun to look at everything there. I really enjoyed it.
