Travelog for: MiniMoo

Today, I visited the Chicago Cultural Center.  It has an art gallery, gift shop and free films from all over the world during the summer.  This building opened in 1897, located at Washington/Michigan Avenues.  This staircase is impressive!

We are visiting Millennium Park.  Too bad it is only 30 degrees outside because all the good stuff is closed until the real spring gets here.

Here is Millennium Park and behind me is the Bean and lots of really tall buildings.

This is the Palmer House Hilton.  Only 13 days after this hotel opened, it was destroyed by the Great Chicago Fire.  Luckily for Palmer Potter, he had LOTS of money and rebuilt it.  He had built this hotel as a wedding gift for his wife Bertha.

Before we visited the hotel, we had a little snack at Panera Bread, which used to be called St. Louis Bread Company but now it is a big company.  They have lots of good things to eat there-bread, cookies, soups, salads, and sandwiches.

Now it's time to go home after a long fun day on the train.  I heard we might be going to Washington DC this weekend to visit the White Ho use!

Here I am at the White House!  Even though it was a Saturday, there was lots of people here and it was rainy so I didn't want to get wet.  That's why I didn't go to far from the cab.

Now it's time for spy training...here comes Agent MiniMoo.

Here I am waiting in O'Hare airport waiting to fly to Europe, because we are going on a trip for a week to Denmark!  This is Michael Jordan, the famous Chicago basketball player.

And for a snack...a delicious Belgian waffle with hot chocolate.

Now it's time to buy tickets for the upcoming trips.
