At my own home, Finland - 20th December 2010

Hello all ToyVoyagers! I am a cow called Levi from Finland. I am 2 years old and I would really like to get friends all over the world!
This is my 'official' Christmas-picture! Wow, I really like the lights! Especially the colorful lights..
This is me and my cousin, Aku (created by pippuri). He is my best cousin! Right now we are living in the same house, but I think we'll go to different countries soon.. I'm gonna miss him so much!
This is me with our Christmas tree! Where will I be in Christmas Eve? At home or in some other country? Anyways, I hope that it will be a nice place!
Then we went to play with snow! Hrrrr, it was so cold but funny!
After playing in snow, we had to go to sauna because snow was so cold and sauna warmed us.
The elf of the sauna offered me some kind of mint tea. It was little bit strange, but maybe elfs like that kind of drinks!
Then Aku decided to meet sauna heater! I was so worried about him, because sauna heater is very, very hot place. I yelled at him that he must NOT go there! Fortunately he complied with my request and survived.. He is sometimes a little reckless lion! ...but still my friend
I hope I get a host soon! And I hope that Aku gets his host too, because I don't want to leave him alone

Today we celebrated New Years Eve with fondue. It was a lot of fun. And when the countdown came, Fabis batteries were empty and we had no chance to make pictures. Sorry.
But we all counted the countdown...

Hattingen, Germany - 12th January 2011

Today we went to see some industry. We saw the Henrichshütte in Hattingen. We didn't make a lot photos. Just one, to be true, as we were there by car and weren't able to go in as it was closed already (it was too late when we got there). Hope you still like it.

Remscheid, Germany - 5th February 2011

Hi Mummy,
I arrived in Remscheid today! Although it was a short trip I had to stay at the post office for one night. As it was very quiet there, it was ok for me.
ThreeToyVoyagers and my new host Katja gave me a warm welcome. There are Squirt, Herlinde and Fimbo_Fimble.
I brought a present for Katja with me, a bar of delicious chocolate.
Katja said we would taste it later when we'd have coffee.

today we tasted the chocolate I brought with me from Essen.
It was filled with sherbet powder - eating the chocolate felt like explosions in my mouth!

Remscheid, Germany - 9th February 2011

Hi Mummy,
two new ToyVoyagers arrived today, Fiona and Clifford.
As the weather was fantastic we took a long walk in the afternoon.
Katja loves to walk in the forests, so we walked out of the city centre towards one of the surrounding valleys. We had to walk downhill for some time because the city centre of Remscheid is situated on a hill. We saw a sports ground on our way, here usually soccer is played.
Katja showed us this beautiful Patrician villa, built in the late 1780 years. It once was the house of a rich factory owner, nowadays a museum is situated in this lovely building.
Here I saw that Remscheid is surrounded by valleys and forests. In the background you can see the outskirts of the neighbour city Wuppertal.
We nearly reached the bottom of the valley.
Here you can see typical houses of this region. You can find many half-timbered houses or those which are covered with slate. Also typical are those green shutters.
Remscheid is an old industrial town, about 780 years old. Tools are produced here since middle ages. Here you can see one of the old factory buildings, you can often find them close to housing areas.
This is the bottom of the valley, on the right side of the street there is a creek flowing, it is marking the border between Remscheid and Wuppertal.
Katja told us that than we had to walk uphill again. On this slope of the valley we walked through a forest.
We walked through a small hamlet than, here I also saw nice old houses.
We walked through a rural district than, with large meadows. Can you see the two towers in the background? This is the city centre with the tower of the city hall and a water tower. We started our trip there and will have to walk back there.
What a lovely spot with so many animals.
This really was an exhausting trip.

Hi Mummy,
today we planned to take a walk with Katja's friend and her dog. She is living in another district of Remscheid, we had to get there by bus. On our way to the bus I saw a little bit more of the vicinity of my current home.
Katja told us that the city centre of Remscheid was nearly destroyed in WW II, but the part where we are living stayed nearly intact. So there are many nice old houses in our neighbourhood.
At the bus stop at the city hall we missed the bus only a few minutes, so it would take nearly half an hour before the next one will come, so we decided to walk a bit to another bus stop.
We waited here for our bus. The ADAC is the German equivalent to Autoliitto in Finland.
