Hi everyone,

after a quiet flight we arrived in Manchester. See me in front of our train which took us to York.


York is a very old town. Funny, this old tower is situated next to a red phone box.


This is York art gallery.


See me in front of Bootham Bar, one of the old town gates.


Look at me walking on the old roman walls.




Last week we visited the moat gardens of Windsor castle. This is the moat garden of York.


I liked this half timbered-house.


There are a lot of old and charming narrow lanes in York.




Look. we found this funny rabbit shop - I was quiet surprised.


York is famous for its 800 years old minster.




The view of the minster was so nice we decided to take a seat and have a coffee.

today we saw the Yorkshire harbour town of Whitby. It is situated on the east coast of the UK.
These are some impressions of Whitby harbour.








Then we went to the seafront and saw this beach.




We had lovely fish and chips but forgot to take a photograph.

Hi everyone,

we are back in Hamburg. And today we took a trip on the river Elbe, a must for every Hamburg visitor.
At Landungsbrücken we boarded our ship.






This is the part of Hamburg, where in former time the goods like coffee, tea and carpets were stored. It is called "Speicherstadt".

In the background you can see the new Speicherstadt, where actually a new part of town is build with flats, shops, offices and a cruise ship terminal.


This is one of the harbour locks.


Look at this big container ship.


With these cranes the container ships are loaded and unloaded.


In the background you can see a dry-dock for ships.


After our boat trip we had a break with a great harbour view.

Hi everyone,

today we went to the west of Hamburg.
First we visited the Jenisch park. The Jenisch-house was build in the 19th century for the senator Jenisch. It is surrounded by a beautiful park.

Our next target was Blankenese. The steep hillside residences boast many tiny, pedestrian-only streets and 4,864 stairs.




Look. what a nice house with so many flowers! I love it!


From Blankenese we took a ferry to Cranz. On our way we saw this big ship on the river Elbe.


In Cranz we had a walk along the river Este.

Hi everyone,

today we visited one of the landmarks of Hamburg.
Do you know which one it is?

Yes you are right, it is the famous harbour church - the "Michel" (St. Michaelis church).

We climbed up the 300 stairs. Look, what an amazing view over Hamburg.








Some people tried to climb even higher. I wonder if they made it over the clouds. 


See me in front of the Nikolai Fleet. It is an old canal through the old part of Hamburg with old storage house on either side.


Then we went to the town center. That's me in the courtyard of the town hall. Someone gave a single rose to the fountain figure.


On a canal near the town hall we saw these sailing boats.

Hi everyone,

Today a new TV arrived.
We saw a small green face looking out of the envelope.




We talked a lot and then we had the idea to try some nougat-creme.....yummi....




Then Miss Zoe had to say Good Bye to us. She will travel to a new host and ScillyHH promised her some exciting adventures.

Hi everyone,

today we had a wonderful sunny day. So we decided to walk along the "Alsterwanderweg" (Alster walking way).

It is a park along the river Alster. See me in front of the Alster. There are so many nice places.




We had a rest and sat down on an old tree.






We wanted to drink a coffee in a small café, but to our regret it wasn't possible to get a free table.

Hello Mum,

Dicker Kumpel called me and invited me. There will be a special party for one of his guests this weekend. Of course I visited him. It was nice to see him again.



Then Dicker Kumpel introduced me to his girl-friend. She is called Kleine Fee – and such a lovely bunny-girl.



We went outside and talked in the sunshine.



Then I spend some time jumping through the garden. I found some beautiful flowers.







Later I went into the house and talked to all the TVs staying here at the moment.

Hello Mum,

Today it was the day of the party. Dicker Kumpel came and invited Dottie Mouse for a party with dotted animals.



Fortunately only Murph and I had dots and we were allowed to join Dottie Mouse.
Some other guys with dots came for Dottie.



Dottie Mouse was so happy to have dotted guests.



We started our party.





Then something funny happened. The other TVs came and had paper dots on their bodies. They asked Dottie whether they were allowed to join the party.



She said yes – and they gave her a Thank-You-hug.



Fortunately RikeH had more things to eat, so we all started our party together.





Later Dicker Kumpel and Murph had a surprise for us – a wonderful firework.



We decided that Murph started it – together with the help of a part of HoBi.



If you have a closer look – you can see some blue parts in the air above us.



This was fun!









Back home on our party-table, we ate the rest of our dinner. Unfortunately we ate everything.







Everything was empty – what should we do?

Well – I am in the home of Dicker Kumpel – and he knows how to party. We drank a delicious cocktail.





It was yummy – Mum.

Some hours later – no comment…

Hello Mum,

We went to Usedom this week. Behind me you can see our home here.



We stayed in a town called Heringsdorf. They have a long pier there – and we walked on it. We had a nice view from the pier.



Look – this was a part of the pier.



There were many people on the beach. And you can see the place where Oliver Kahn and a woman talked about soccer during the European Championship.



Later I listened to music with many other people.

Hello Mum,

Today we went to another little town called Ahlbeck. They have a very old clock there.



And another pier.



I loved this place – far behind me you can see the pier of Heringsdorf.



We went to the end of the pier and had this nice view.



It was a little windy.



We found a nice place at the beach.





We should travel to this place together – and stay in this hotel, Mum!

We had bad weather – and I hung around in the room. The apartment had the name Provence.

Hi Mum,

It was time to leave Usedom. We found a really big beach chair.





We drove over Usedom and found this great place. We were able to see 7 lakes from a tower.





Then we stopped at this wonderful mill.



We took a rest next to the mill.





Then we went to another mill – it was nice, too.





We had lunch in this castle.



I met this nice angle in the park.



Our last stop was at a small harbor.





We had a nice time on Usedom.

Hi Mum,

We took a trip to Lübeck – a really nice town. On the photo you see one of the typical backyards there.

   

This is the famous town hall.



Here you see it from the other side.





This building is called Holstentor. It is really famous in Germany – and had been on a money note in the Past.

It was a nice trip!

I had to say goodbye to Dicker Kumpel. But we are close friends and hope to see each other again!
