St Ives, UK - 12th June 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,

today we enjoyed our sunday lunch in a small pub Sheaf Of Wheat. The lunch was very tasty. See me in front of my big plate.

Because of the bad weather we only had a walk along the beaches in the evening.

Lelant, UK - 13th June 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,

this was a fantastic day. First we visited Lelant, a small village near St Ives (for all Rosamunde Plicher fans: she was born in Lelant). Then we walked on the coastal footpath from Lelant to St Ives. Lovely views! We saw Porhtkidney Beach, really nice. But it was a hard walk so we decided to take the train from Carbis Bay station to St Ives. Scilly allowed me to push the "Open" and "Close" button. I am a little bit proud of myself :-)

At the end of the day we enjoyed the sun at Porthminster beach.

Padstow, UK - 14th June 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,

today we made a long trip with the bus to Padstow. See me sitting in the bus. In Padstow we visited Prideaux Place. It is an old manor house, built in 1592 and since then the Prideaux-Brune family is the only owner. Nowadays Prideaux Place often is a film location for instance for Rosamunde Pilcher films, also for a Shakespeare film and many other productions. See me in front of Prideaux Place.

Bournemouth, UK - 17th June 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,
a sad day. We had to say good bye to Cornwall and it was raining the whole day. During our traivel to Bournemouth, where we will stay this weekend, Lewis and I slept in the rucksack. We only got out when we reached the hotel in Bournemouth. But now we enjoy the big bed, one half all for me. And to my pleasure we got a sweet tray. How nice of the hotel! But it still rains.

Bournemouth, UK - 18th June 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,
after a nice breakfast we set out to explore the town of Bournemouth. The have a long pier, lovely town gardens and a great open top bus running along the coastline. At one point the bus has to take a ferry. Quiet exiting! The end station was the little seaside town Swanage.

Ryde, Isle of Wight, UK - 19th June 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,
today we had a daytrip to the isle of Wight. It was the great day of LewisHH. He completed one of his life missions: We took the Hovercraft to come from Portsmouth & Southsea to Ryde, isle of Wight. What an exciting trip! I loved it. Has anyone of you ever been on a Hovercraft? It flyes across the water.

On the isle of Wight we visited Osborne House. Queen Victoria and her family lived her during the summer time. A nice palace with lovely gardens around it. I would also like to spend the summer in this place. But Scilly and Richy said we have to go back.

Hamburg, Germany - 20th June 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,

today we had to fly home. I'm a little bit sad.
See me at Heathrow airport Terminal 5 looking at shoes and boarding the plane. I love these shoes, but Scilly and Richy said I'm a bunny and I don't need shoes at all.
Now are back in Hamburg. But no worry, on saturday we will fly to Mozart town Salzburg.

Salzburg, Austria - 25th June 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,

today we went on a day trip to Salburg, Austria. I have been looking forward to an austrian café for a long time. So I was very pleased to have breakfast in café Basar. I enjoyed it.
Then I enjoyed the sights of Salzburg, for instance the old castle above the town and Mozarts birth place.

In the afternoon we went to the "Königssee" which is a world famous lake nearly 650 meters over sealevel with big mountains on either side. Even without sunshine it was a lovely day.

Hamburg, Germany - 1st July 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,
what a borring time since my last update! My mum has a new job and she was very busy the last two months. But last week she promised to spent more time with my friend LewisHH and me.

The first step now is to tell you something about the birthday party of LewisHH which took place on the 1st July.

I baked a strawberry cake for LewisHH. I know he loves strawberrys. Richy and Scilly decorated the table with some paper streamers, my strawberry cake, the presents and a paper lantern. It was very nice. LewisHH enjoyed his special day and so did I.

Copenhagen, Denmark - 3rd September 2011

By: ScillyHH

Hi everyone,

today we were on a daytrip to Copenhagen, the danish capital.

We took the train from Hamburg in the early morning. Going by train includes crossing the Baltic Sea by a ferry. See me on the deck of the MS Prins Richard crossing another ferry and with the lifebelt.

http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff516/ScillyHH/Kopenhagen%202011/4130001.jpg

http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff516/ScillyHH/Kopenhagen%202011/4170001.jpg

The sun was shining in Copenhagen, so we decided going on a boat trip through the town. It was very interesting. We saw the theatre and the opera house, the royal yacht, the new libary (called the "Black Diamond" because of the colour of the building), some churches, the bourse and many bridges. Of course we also saw the Little Mermaid. But our boat was very quick and the Mermaid could only be seen from the back. So please excuse the blurred photograph but we did enjoy it.

http://i1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff516/ScillyHH/Kopenhagen%202011/4590001.jpg

After the boattrip we walked along the Nyhavn-canal. It's very busy with many restaurants and cafés. Take a look of my colourful photos.

I also enjoyed the ferryride in the evening back to Germany. We had a fantastic sunset. How romantic!

Bremerhaven, Germany - 30th September 2011

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

I am a travelling ToyVoyager now – of course I travelled with you in the last months, but now I am travelling on my own.

I went to a nice place called Sülfeld – and another bunny gave me a warm welcome. He is called Dicker Kumpel.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0036.jpg

Then he introduced me to his other guests.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0037.jpg

This was yesterday – today we went to another place -called Bremerhaven. This was our first view of the city.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0043.jpg

We went through the city and found this funny monument.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0047.jpg

There was a beautiful church – and we had lovely sunny weather.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0050.jpg

In Bremerhaven is a museum for ships – and we saw a lot of them. And a submarine!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0055.jpg

I have no idea, who this is.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0056.jpg

First I thought about Dubai, when I saw this building, but I am still in Germany.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0064.jpg

In the evening we were in our hotel. Look, we have a nice view out of our room.

Bremerhaven, Germany - 1st October 2011

Hello Mum,

We went into the Zoo today. There were many nice animals. Here you can see me with the penguins.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0081.jpg

We were able to see them swimming and watch it from ‘under the water’.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0084.jpg

I also visited a seal – this was fun!

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0103.jpg

There were a lot of native birds here.

Wremen, Germany - 2nd October 2011

By: RikeH

Hi Mum,

We went to the Coast today – and wanted to see some lighthouses.

This was the first one – it is not a big one, but a nice one.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0109.jpg

There was no water next to the Coast, but Dicker Kumpel explained us, that this is normal here, because of the tides.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0116.jpg

There were fisher boats in the little harbor.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0121.jpg

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0122.jpg
Behind me you can see the different water levels.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0123.jpg

In another little village we saw this strange lighthouse - have you ever seen one like this?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0127.jpg

The water still was not near to us.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0133.jpg

On our way back we stopped at this beautiful windmill.

Stade , Germany - 3rd October 2011

By: RikeH

Hello Mum,

Not much happened today, we drove home to Sülfeld and had only one stop in a town called Stade.

There were many nice building, but I loved this old crane.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0141.jpg

Of course the houses were beautiful, too.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0153.jpg

What a funny monument.

It was a nice long weekend.

Sülfeld, Germany - 15th October 2011

By: RikeH

Hi Mum,

Christmas will be soon...so we went to a place with Christmas Trees and searched a nice one for RikeH and Dicker Kumpel

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0188.jpg

We liked this one - but RikeH wanted another.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0189.jpg

She decided to take this one - can you see the difference?

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0191.jpg

We put a sign with her name on the tree - and the tree will be here until Christmas.
This is funny. Maybe I will still be here, when we celebrate Christmas.

On our way back to the car we found mushrooms.

http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/uu215/RikeH_2009/A%2011/E_0192.jpg

I hope that you feel much better now, Mum!

yours
Clairchen
