Hi everyone,

Today was our last day in St Ives for this year. I am a little bit sad. In the afternoon we took a long last look at the harbour. See me with my friends.




We saw a little dog hunting the seagulls. We talked to him and found out his name is Spencer. He works on a fishing boat. We told him about our life as a ToyVoager.




Scilly and Richy offered Spncer to become a ToyVoyager too. He was happy to join in. So the four of us took a long last look at Porthgwidden beach.




Then we had to go home to pack the baggage.

Hi everyone,

Today was a long day of traveling. First we took the train from St Ives to London Paddington. See me with my friends on the train.


This is me at the famous Paddington station (where the famous Ms Marple took the train at 16:50)


Then we took the plane from London Heathrow to Hamburg. I enjoyed the full "fly to serve" treatment. What a nice flight.




My next update will come from Hamburg.

we had a quiet week. Scilly was very busy. And the weather this weekend is quite terrible: rainy and windy. So we stayed home and prepared the Christmas decorations.

Scilly had a task for us. We had a competition: me and Hoppsi against Lewis and Spencer. Who can put together the Christmas tea lights faster. See us in progress.

As we all did it so well Scilly gave each of us a German Lebkuchen heart.


Then we posed in the middle of the Christmas decorations.


I like this red Christmas tree in the window.

Hi everyone,

Today Scilly came home from work very early. So we decided to make a walk through the Alsterpark.
See me on a bridge in the park.




After it got dark Scilly showed us a house which was decorated with many lights for christmas.


Our walk finished at the airport. See me with this big Advent wreath in the airport bulding.

Hi everyone,

Today Scilly showed us the St. Michaelis church, known as “Hamburger Michel”. The Michel is Hamburgs landmark. See me in front of the church.


There are many Christmas markets in Hamburg. This is the entrance of the biggest one in front of the city hall. The entrance is really nice, isn’t it? So many lights 


See the many people behind me. Amazing!

Hi everyone,

this weekend we spend in Mecklenburg at Scillys parents. This is Scillys childhood home.



In the morning we baked Christmas cakes. See me with the rolling pin.





Look at me with my friends with a great basket filled with our cakes…. Hmm yummi!



That’s me in the afternoon while drinking a cup of coffee and eating a cake.



In the evening we decorated the Christmas tree. It is nice, isn’t it?

I spend Christmas time in Hamburg. Look at me and my friends under the Christmas tree and with all the presents.

Hi everyone,

It's the last day of the year. We spend this weekend in Mecklenburg. In the evening we will have a New Years Eve party.
But in the afternoon we took a long walk in the residencial town of Ludwigslust.
See the nice palace behind me.





This is the view opposite the palace with the waterfall.





We found this church in the park behind the palace.



There are many small lakes and streams in the park.



On the way home Scilly showed us the old castle in Neustadt-Glewe.





Unfortunately the castle museum was closed.



Now I'm looking forward the New Years Eve Party.

Happy New Year!

Hi everyone,

This evening we had a little New Years Eve party. We sat on the party table and talked to each other.



Scilly bought some roman candles. Look, that’s me with my favorite one. It is funny, isn’t it?



At midnight we saw the fantastic firework. This was a nice start for the new year!

Today Hoppsi and Spencer said Good Bye to us.
Hoppsi goes to Duisburg and Spencer is on his way to HoBi. He takes part on the Big Germany-RR.









We wish them both a great time and will miss them.

Sunshine and ice in Hamburg! Time to see the Hamburg harbour in winter.

See me in front of a lighthouse ship which is now used as a café.


This is an old custom house in the Speicherstadt.


Look at me in front of the Elbphilarmonie which is currently built. It is going to be a concert hall.


Behind me you can see the freid ship Cap San Diego now a museum ship.

Hi everyone,

Scilly told us, that the lake Außenalster in middle of town is frozen. There will be a great festival, the “Alstereisvergnügen” the whole weekend with thousands of people. Scilly will join the festival together with Richy, Bärndt and Lewis.
I will go to RikeH tomorrow. She invited me to accompany her for her holiday on the isle of Amrum.

To give me an impression of the Alstereisvergnügen Scilly showed us a small lake near her home with some people which were ice-skating or playing hockey. Perhaps I can learn ice-skating one day?






I’m looking forward for my time on Amrum.

Hi Mum,

I just want to let you know that I arrived in Sülfeld.

It was so great to meet Dicker Kumpel again!



Then he introduced me to the other two guys who will come to Amrum with us.



It will be an adventurous trip tomorrow. Can you see what we read in the web?



Here you can see it better – there is so much ice on the North Sea that not all ferries will be in use – and we cannot take the car with us.



RikeH is very sad and disappointed, but we will cheer her up!

Keep your fingers crossed for us that we will reach Amrum!

Hi Mum,

Great News – we were allowed to go on this ferry!  And we went to Amrum.



Look – there was a lot of ice on the North Sea.



Maybe they didn’t know the way and we were on the way to the North Pole.



We had fun in the restaurant and learnt that they say Moin Moin here, instead of Hello.

Hello Mum, 

Yesterday we arrived in Wittdün. This morning we went onto our balcony and had a look around. Well – normally there is water – but now there was ice.







Then we relaxed in the sunshine.



Later we went to the dunes near to Norddorf.  Look – there was snow in the dunes.





We climbed up a very high dune and had a nice view.





We went to the water – well – water?  We saw some water – but more sheets of ice.



I loved to sit on the wall of another look-out.
