Philip meets a curious creature in the garden. Other homes might have gnomes, but Phillip's family has F3, the armadillo. He was named after the F3 tornado went north of town in 2003, just a few weeks before F3 joined the family.

Philip likes animals. Here he visits with the friendly, white cat named Biscuit; two chinchillas, and some goldfish!

Phillip went to church with his family today. He got a warm greeting at the door, and checked out the guest book!

Phillip checks out the local countryside. He is preparing to journey to England to visit Leslee and wanted to take a last look around before he goes. He saw llama's in the Boyer's field, noted that the water level has gone down on the Neosho River, and admired the wildflowers while watching those wild springtime clouds.

Phillip takes a last look around town with his family. He shops the Diamond Daisy, stops for a break with the kids, looks at all the dogs available for adoption through the local animal rescue, and checks out some handsome cowboy boots! Kansas is cowboy country, after all!

As Phillip prepares to go on his journey to England, he has a farewell luncheon with his family at their favorite local restaurant, El Charro! He appreciates the cheerful atmosphere (pictures are of the front and west sides of the building- Phillip is really tiny in these two pics, see if you can spot him!) and enjoyed sharing chips, bean nachos, and vegetarian fajitas!
Bon voyage, Phillip! Enjoy England!

Clifton Backies, England - 1st June 2011
By: Leslee
Hi everyone, I have time to tell you about the woods on the way back from bowling yesterday.
The woods is in a big area saved for conservation and is also a great place for people to come and play and bring their dogs for a walk.
We played hide and seek.
I hid. Can you find me?
Big Owen's friend found me!
It was really good fun and great exercise.
xx love from Phillip
