today we went to a farm where BlackCat had to choose one pumpkin for the pumpkin carving she wants to do for Halloween.

It was a really hard choice, you can see there were thousands of pumpkins.

But she found one and I hope we can do pumpkin carving with her later.

Today we welcomed a new voyager here at BlackCats home.
His name is Spiker and he comes from the USA. Welcome Spiker!

Later today the sky turned grey and BlackCat got scared. Suddenly hail was coming down from the sky and we were all watching how it looked…BlackCat said not long and we will have snow. We will see. Snow is better than hail, I think.

Hey ,

today we had a walk in the city. We walked through the new Thyssen Krupp quarter. It was built in 2010.



This house is the so called „Stammhaus“ from Alfried Krupp and his family. It was totally destroyed in the Second World War, but 1960/61 an original rebuilt was built only 100meters away from the original place. It is a symbol for the beginnings of the Krupp area, which made Essen to the city it is now.



Here you can see the steel workers at work.



This is the new headquarter of Thyssen Krupp.



It has a lot of water in front of it.





That's the area around it. On the second picture you can see the tv tower.



The black house in the background is the town hall. The one in the front is a car seller.



Next to the car seller is a furniture store (Kröger), Ikea and McDonalds.

Hey,

now we will show you some typical German cars. Mainly VW, as the car seller had nearly no other cars. But one other car. BlackCat forgot the names of the cars, so she will add them later when she had the time to talk to her boyfriend about it.

Today I said Goodbye to all the other voyagers at BlackCats house. I wasn't the only one leaving, so we said Goodbye together.

today we joined BlackCat on her shopping tour in Essen Steele. It is a part of Essen. She had to go to the post office.



On the way to the post office we saw a pet shop and looked at the rabbits who were jumping around in the window.



Then we saw the church next to the post office.



And an old house on the market place in Steele.



And last but not least the shopping street itself.

surprise, surprise we are in another country.

BlackCat visits her best friend right now and luckily she is living in Utrecht, Netherlands. So we were able to join her while visiting her.

Today we went to the Dom of Utrecht.



This statue was standing next to the cathedral.





And that's the cathedral tower. Isn't it big?

today we went into the city centre of Utrecht again. We just made photos of the „Grachten“, some houses and a statue. When we came back home BlackCat had to write some postcards, so we helped her a little with that. I really hope you like the photos we made for you!
