After work, host mom stopped to show Jellybean and the other TVs the Wayne Garrett Children's Garden! This garden was on land that was donated to and planted by the children involved in the local after school program. It is named after the husband of a beloved elementary school teacher; the husband was a farmer who was killed in a tractor accident. Earth mom says fried green tomatoes taste excellent.

Earth mom told Jellybean there was a special surprise this morning as she took the TVs to water the garden with her. They stopped off by the old coach house and Jellybean admired the beauty of how the plants grew up around the old wall. Then, Jellybean spotted the special surprise! Her cousin, Jujube, is here on earth! Hurrah! :)

Jellybean and the other TVs got to visit the doctor's office today, so the doctor could have a look in B's sore ear. Good thing there was a comfortable place to sit for the long wait.

Coffee break time! Someone brought a lovely 4th of July brownie cake with white frosting, then blueberries and strawberries, to create an American flag pattern, so earth mom took a piece for a coffee break snack at work! Yum!

Jellybean was excited when earth mom told her they'd be going back to Moran, KS to visit another family and celebrate a 14th birthday bash, with bbq and fireworks (with the fireworks in honor of the American 4th of July). She had so much fun!

The earth family was excited to go geocaching today! They started out on foot near the house, using a little tool that showed them what direction to go, and told them how close they were. Then, they drove  out to Riverside Park, but didn't find the one there. Someone must have taken it :(

Gas, KS, USA - 4th July 2011

Next, the geocache device took them to the cemetery in Gas. They stopped to pay respects to a friend who had passed on in a car accident last year, then moved on to an old, abandoned part of the cemetery. Jellybean thought she saw something in a nook in a tree!

Jellybean tagged along for more geocaching. Today, the earth family was trying to find a small cache in a little pocket park on the town square. Even with all of the people and TVs looking, no luck :(
