Melek went to Sabbath school and church supper with his host family today. It was fun, with good food and very nice people. Host mom told Melek that he'll be traveling to a new host soon, so he is really trying to enjoy his last few days in Kansas.

Members of the zombie apocalypse came to wish Melek safe travels, as he leaves tomorrow for his next host!

Hi Mum,
After a long trip over sea, I just arrived here in Switzerland. I was happy to get out of this narrow envelope. *Paul* and Bullseye  welcomed me warmly.

...let's start the adventure!

We visited my hosts family today. They live near a water powerstation. The river is beautiful, but it was so cold (-15°C). Brrrrr......!!!

I had a special job today. I cleaned the photovoltaic system on the roof! The panels couldn't produce power, because they were covert with snow. Now, everything is ok. I hope the sun will shine as soon as possible that we can make clean sun power!

Wow, sunshine! I really enjoyed the wonderful day with blue sky and without clouds. I took a sunbath. Fantastic!

Carneval! I enjoyed the Carneval-Sunday in Giswil. We had the children's parade. I really loved to swim in confetti! ...but the weather was so ugly! ...rain, wind, snow...!!!

What a wonderful day! I enjoyed the beautiful weather. I really like this bird house. It was a birthday present for my hostmum. It's real handmade.

Soccer - I love soccer!
I watched the game FC Lucerne against BSC Young Boys Berne at the new SwissporArena in Lucerne. We really had fun, because my favourite team FC Lucerne wins the game 2:0! Fantastic... and I really enjoyed the beer!

Once again - SOCCER! I had the chance to watch soccer. We went to Bern (Stade de Suisse - Wankdorf) and watched the game Switzerland against Argentina. I really liked to watch Lionel Messi. He made 3 goals! ...Switzerland lost the game 3:1 

Hi Mum,
I enjoyed the weekend in Arosa. It’s a little village in the alps. I tried to learn skiing… The weather was beautiful. Can you see the high mountains?

Today we went out for a walk. ...than we have discovered this curious alpacas... I was afraid because they tried to bite me!

Today is my last day in Switzerland ThomasHH and I made a run. He took the Mobycar and I the mouse Unfortunately, we had an accident. But we had luck, nothing happened!

It's time to say "Goodbye". I'm leaving Switzerland today. I really had a good time here and I'm sure that my hostfamily will miss me!

...I walked to the postoffice and jumped into the mailbox!

BYE SWITZERLAND - WELCOME CANADA!

Hi Mum,

I am in Canada ! Today I spent a few hours in what I believe was a very small mail box, until someone picked up my envelope and dropped it somewhere soft. Immediately I had the feeling that a dozen hands where frantically labouring to get it open .



And as I got out a found a posse of TVs greeting me. They are Jujube and Cherry Lola from the US, Commodore Quack from the UK, Sweetsy and Petit Lapin from Germany like me and sammino who is  a stay-at-home TV. I showed them the lovely presents that my last host gave me and they were very impressed ...particularly with the Swiss chocolate, which helped a lot in keeping high our sugar levels as we spent the night chatting .
