LacieKat is a wild ToyVoyager. She is very excited to start on her journey and hopes that whomever finds her will take pictures and post them here, so that we can enjoy her travels, too! LacieKat hopes that the person who finds her will blog with her for a while, then release her back to the wild or send her home.

LacieKat went to the post office in Garnett to start her journey across the sea... she is going to Russia, where her host has promised to blog with her a bit, and then wild release!

First place: Memorial Space Museum)
I photographed the monument to Yuri Gagarin - first man in space. And the monument to Valentina Tereshkova - the first woman-cosmonaut. I think they are brave people)
Then I saw a big Stella with rocket)
From the park is visible Ostankino television tower. It is broadcast on television all over Moscow. It is very big!
Then I saw the building of the museum space and an inscription on it, "April 12, 1961 in the Soviet Union put into orbit around the Earth the world's first spacecraft, Sputnik" East "with a man on board" (TASS April 12, 1961).
