I want to walk in your shoes for a while......

Hi mum!! 

I've finally made it to America!! It was such a long journey and I'm really tired so I will make my first entry quite short.

It's so hot here - around 43 degrees which is a lot different from home!!

I'm staying with Tamzyn and her husband Jamal. I met their dog LB today - he seemed very happy to see me, but I think that he just wants to play with me (he thinks I'm one of his squeaky toys), so I'll have to stay out of his way.



I went on my first trip today. I met Tamzyn at around 4pm and not even  2 hours later I was in a car driving to a park in Phoenix called Papago Park. It is really pretty. There is a huge rock (more like a mountain!) called 'Hole in the Rock' and we climbed to the hole to watch the sunset over Phoenix. It was very pretty.









On the way home we stopped at Taco Bell and I got my first meal here - a triple steak burrito and ice tea



*Yawn* Well it's getting late over here now and as I said before, it's been a long day so I'm going to sleep in a minute.

(I'm a little excited because I have a feeling that I'll get to fulfill a life mission soon - I wont tell you which one yet - it'll be a surprise)

Hi mum!!

Sorry I've been so quiet! Tamsin has been really busy (she just got a new job!) but last night we went out to celebrate at Joe's Crab Shack! The food was so good.

     

We're going to the Botonical Gardens at the weekend so I'll be able to update you a little more
