MERRY CHRISTMAS !

We have been in Cologne, in the DOME OF COLOGNE actually, for the famous Christmas mess on midnight.
It was really exciting, there were maaany people inside and outside.
But we could only take a photo outside.

Spending a nice sunday at home wondering where I will be soon!

Gee take a look at the beautiful mexican sun!


I like to take morning walks through Niza's chili pepper plants (:



I'm a bit of a party monkey so I drink some tequila every now and then :P

Niza came home with some good news for me, in few days I will start my journey!
Apparently I'm making Germany my first stop, luckily we have this book at home so I can have an idea of what's waiting for me!

Gee! take a look at the distance I'll be soon traveling,the whole atlantic ocean! I hope the trip doesn't take too long...
I was spinning in this globe and wondering which amazing places I'll visit, Niza says my destiny after my Germany-tour is a surprise!
Anyways...I hope I do get to start my journey tomorrow!

So I was supposed to travel yesterday but due to some budget issues Niza will be sending me next week, however she didn't want me to feel sad so after her classes she took me around the city (:

In Mexico November 2 we celebrate "day of the death" one of Mexico coolest traditions that dates back to the aztecs! is kind of a halloween celebration, so towards ends of October/beginnings of November there's this special bread everywhere


We walked around Coyoacán, the hippie-indie hood of Mexico city which has all this colonial buildings


Then we went to "La zona rosa" a trendy hood full of open bars, cafes & restaurants


We had some Carl's Jr. for lunch!

Niza & her best friend were going to this cool band call metronomy concert (do you know them? they are British & they're great!) I got to go to the show to!


I can't believe I got out alive of all this jumping & dancing!

Since I'm traveling on friday Niza took me around the city again so when I travel if i get homesick I can look at this pictures of our beautiful city (:
We went around the centre, first at the Zócalo (Mexico's biggest square which is the second biggest in the world after the Red square in Moscow!)

Here there was the Alebrijes expo which are this mache-paper colorful imaginary creatures very typical from Mexico (you can read more about them here)

Continuing with my last tour around home, today we went to el Palacio de Bellas Artes (the palace of the fine arts) which is a cultural center created in 1934

Inside the principal room which instead of having a normal fabric curtain it has this beautiful curtain made of more than a million mosaics which was made by the Tiffany & co. house!

The day is almost coming! today we went to the post office, I'm glad I got to see the beautiful building before I go again on friday but this time inside an envelope!

They had a mummy expo inside! They were a bit freaky :S


Since we celebrate our day of the dead you can see around all the city (shops, schools,houses...) this altars which are full of drinks & food because it's believed the dead people come to visit on november 2 so they need to have some food & drinks for their journey

The big day finally arrived! I'm starting my journey
Niza took me to the post office after her class, even tough fridays she just has a 2 hour class to me it felt like lots of hours! However it was nice hearing lots of talking in spanish since I would not be hearing any for a while :P
Well next time I write I'll be in Germany!

Hey mum i finally arrived !

Gosh what a journey..... And i have a jetlag !
But don't worry everything's allright !

Yesterday after i arrived we had dinner together and then watched "The Simpsons" before going to bed !

I am still tired and have to take a nap again, but when i'm fine and relaxed Tani will bring me to some nice places around.

Hello mum,

today is the 1st sunday of advent and we spent the whole day on the couch relaxing, watching tv and eating much food !

We went for a short christmas weekend to Paris !!!!

* Christmas market *

Hello Mum,
tonight we went to Dortmund's christmas market and i ate much fat food - when i come back to Mexico i have to go on diet.....

I got a photo of Dortmund's big christmas tree

Dortmund has the biggest christmas market in Germany. Here are over 300 market stalls and about 3,6 million national/international visitors every year.
On the Hansaplatz is a very big christmas tree, build of 1700 single christmas trees.
Have a look at the pic.
It has a height of 45 meters.
