Port District, Takamatsu, Japan - 4th December 2011
By: hanachan
Konnichiwa!
Takamatsu is a port city on the Seto Inland Sea.
We see vessels and ferry boats coming and going.
It was a warm day. So I enjoyed some walking.
Mata ne!

P.S.
In Japan, Christmas is not a national holiday. It's just a commercial event here. However, they decorate Christmas trees and enjoy it.

Ikuta Shrine in Sannomiya
Most Japanese are both Shintoists and Buddhists. Shintoism is the native religion of Japan. It has no Bible. It is originated from primitive ancestor and nature worship.
Hey, Mum, the wedding ceremony was held in this shrine today. The red carpet was for happy Bride and Groom
Chinatown in Nankinmachi
There are three big Chinese towns in Japan. One is here in Kobe. Always it is crowded with many tourists.

Ritsurin Garden, Takamatsu, Japan - 18th December 2011
By: hanachan
Hey,
This is Ritsurin Garden, a typical Japanese garden.
It is located in the center of the city, among the modern buildings.
Imagine the princess in Samurai era walking in the garden.
For 228 years long since 1642, the Matsudaira family, the Lord of Takamatsu owned and maintained the garden. Today the garden is open to public.

Mt. Yashima, Takamatsu, Japan - 3rd January 2012
By: hanachan
Today we are on the top of Mt. Yashima.
Wow, the whole city view is there.
Then we visited Yashima temple and shrine.
Their visit to temples and shrines on the early days of the new year, it is called "Hatsumoude", and pray for happiness and good health.
Especially this year, they hope it is getting better. I hope so.
Love,
Chubbi
