It's October 24th, 8:14pm in Germany. I'm still at home but I'm preparing everything for my big adventure. I don't know yet where I'm gonna travel first, but I'm so excited!!
The picture shows me on my mummys bed on my last evening in good old Germany (hopefully).
Gonna miss my home, but it's time for something new!!

Mummy told me today that I'll travel to Mexico tomorrow!! Yaaay, that's awesome!! I think I'll spend the whole november there... Afterwards I'll be in Italy in december. I really can't wait to spend christmas time with my host!!
Well, mummy suprised me with some tickets for a DFB-Pokal match (German Football Association cup) of my favourite team, BVB Borussia Dortmund 09!! Borussia Dortmund is the german champion this year. Yesterdays rival was the SG Dynamo Dresden. The picture shows me with a ticket and my hosts muffler
The game was great!! But the fans of Dynamo Dresden were awful!! They set things on fire, throw quarter sticks and pyrotechnic on the field, took smoke-bombs and stuff like that... Besides there were big fights, many people got hurt.. the police had so much to do that evening!! The game had to get cut off at least 3 times due riot and hooligans... I can't understand why hooligans have to destroy everything..
However, the game was great, we sat in the second row and my favourite football player of all time, the lovely Mario Götze, was less than 10 meters away from me!!
That was such a nice suprise of you, mummy!! I really enjoyed it.
This is me at the stadium, the "Signal Iduna Park", during the game:
So, now I'm tired and I have to prepare for the big day tomorrow.
Lots of Love,
Barry

Today is the day!!!
Everything is packed, I'm so excited
Sun is shining, skies are blue. A beautiful day for starting my travel to Mexico. I've been on the balcony for the last time for a long time.
Afterwards, I said goodbye to my dearest friends. On one side I'm sad to leave them but then again I'm soo looking forward to something new. I really can't wait!!
Well, it's time to go now.. I've passed the point of no return.
Lots of Love,
Barry xx

Mexico city, Mexico - 14th November 2011
By: heynizajude
Hello mummy!
I'm so happy! Today we got to walk through Mexico city for the first time, it was awesome!
The weather was warm however it was a bit cloudy, Niza says it was better because that way we could walk a lot! also we were lucky there was not many people so we could take a lot of nice pictures!
Today we walked around the centre and it was so much fun
Our day started down in the subway
The latin american tower
A monument that was a gift from Germany!
On the back it says: to the mexican people from the german community, september 17 1921
Right under the latin american tower, Niza says we will get to see the city from the top soon!
One of the streets of the centre
A really nice building
Then we went to the Zócalo (or the main square) we couldn't really see the flag because it was hold like that in signal of respect to the secretary of government that died last week in a helicopter accident
This is Palacio nacional (or the main government offices)
This is the cathedral
El templo mayor (some aztec ruins that are believed to be the centre of the aztec empire) Niza says we can go through the excavations however Mondays all the museums are closed so we will have to do that another time
This is a model of Tenochtitlán (Mexico city in the aztec times)
The statue of the founders, the legend says the aztecs were told by their god to found their city where they saw an eagle over a cactus eating a snake, so this scene is represented in this statue
The portals of one of the buildings next to the Zócalo
Statues of some of the aztec emperors, Nezahualcoyotl, Izcoatl and Totoquihuatzin, that's some hard names!
The MUNAL (national museum of art)
After looking at all this amazing places we sat down for a snack, green tea & doritos :P
And that was all for today, now you can see how exciting everything was! After all the walking we came home to rest and call it a day (:
