Hello Mum, hello Dad,

Today we visited Murph and his friends. We were so happy! Dicker Kumpel had a present for Murph!



Murph called us! What an exciting object! We had to wait for the darkness.



We spent this time with talking and eating Easter eggs.



It was still too light.



It became better.



What a wonderful sphere!



The next day we had to say good-bye.

Hello Mum and Dad,

We were in the Wisentgehege in Springe. Wisents and other animals live here. We started with the birds.



Wow, they looked great!





Then I found the wisents.





What a nice house – I would love to live in it.



We were very close to these deer.





The other family was far away!



Look – little pigs.



Do you know these animals? Sure – raccoons.



The wild horses were in a strange mood.



It was a nice day here!

Hello Mum and Dad,

Today I visited Hildesheim – a beautiful small town. Here you see it in small.



This is a strange house here.



It is called Zuckerhut – just like the street, where I live at the moment.



Look, the St. Michaelis church.





We went inside.





What a beautiful ceiling.



Near to the church there was this strange statue.



Scary!!!



Then we went to the Hildesheim Cathedral.



Sure we went into it.







There was a beautiful garden next to it.





Behind me you see the famous rose of Hildesheim.



It was nice here.



What a funny person – sitting on another man.



We arrived at the marketplace – with so many beautiful buildings.







You have a beautiful city next to your home!

Hello Mum and Dad,

I went to a place called Jersbek. Behind me you see an Eiskeller. People stored things in it, to keep it cold – in the Past.



This was really interesting.





Then I went to a nice park – this was the place in front of it.





I learnt a lot about the park here.



There were beautiful trees behind me. They are called the 12 apostles.



Spring starts now here.



The park belongs to this small castle.



What a nice alley.

I went to Kirchdorf – of course there was a church.



It looked nice inside.





Can you see Dicker Kumpel and me?



It is a nice place.



With a small harbor.







We had a great time with nice music here.

Can you imagine, where I am? Right – it's the Port of Hamburg.



And I saw the Elbphilharmonie of Hamburg in the distance.



This is the River Elbe.



And the Landungsbrücken.

Hallo Mum and Dad,

I am on the Bornholm Island. Today I went onto the beach near to our holiday house.  The crossing looks good.



And the beach was beautiful!







Surely I will come back and walk along the Baltic Sea.



But today we wanted to go to Dueodde and see the lighthouse there.



Next to it I climbed onto a dune and had a great view.





Then we walked to the beach – it looked similar to the first one.



Far behind me you can see the lighthouse.



I saw the sunlight on the water.



We liked it here.



Then we arrived at an exciting place.



Maybe you cannot see it on the sign. Then 55th Northern latitude and the 15th Eastern longitude meet here.



At the end we found a beautiful water mill – without water today.

Hello, can you see me in the red plant?



There are 4 Round Churches on Bornholm – this is the Sankt Ols Kirke.



It was exciting. We climbed up these stairs.





Later it became steeper, very – and dark.



This is the altar.



I liked the painting on the ceiling.



The church and the bell tower looked so beautiful!

Hello Mum and Dad,

The fortress Hammerhus looked great – it is only a ruin now, but worth a visit.



We had a nice view from this point.



The fortress was really big, I think. You still can see it today.



It looks great over there. I will have a closer look.



Really beautiful.

Hello Mum and Dad,

This is the Port of  Sandvig



You can see two big hotels next to it.



We drove to Madsebakke. There were nice scratichings in the rock. You can see a ship here.



A better view here – it is a ship out of the Bronze Age.



I have no idea, where these circles stand for.



On the way home we stopped at the cliffs Helligdomsklipperne.





It was very steep here.

Hello Mum and Dad,

Today we travelled back in the medieval times. This was the house of the guilds.



The craftsmen met here in the Past.



But we found a nice cradle for us.



Next to it was the smithy.





We arrived at the best part of the village – I saw a big palisade.





This was the kitchen.







Then I went to the wonderful manor on the left side of the photo.



The paintings were interesting – and colorful.



I loved the bedroom.



Can you see the Tower behind me?



We climbed up and had a nice view.



On the meadow we found a rune stone.



They had water mills in that time.



I really loved it here.

Hi Mum and Dad,

Yesterday I saw a round church – today we saw another one in Østerlars.



It is famous for its fresco paintings.



This was the font – it is as old as the church.



The altar.



A beautiful church.



You won't guess, what you see behind me.



It was the famous water tower of Snaneke. It was designed by the famous Danish architect Jörn Utzon – he built the opera of Sydney.

But of course there was a mill here – a wooden one this time.



This mill had a good size.



But the original next to it was beautiful, too. And the wings were in motion!

I was surprised – a church – and it was not round. It was the Aakirke.



I liked it inside, too.





The baptistery was very famous, but for me it looked like a normal one.



Then we visited the market place.



The geese were very tall.



Many houses here on Bornholm are very long.



This was the post.



Then we drove to Nylars – and visit another round church.



This one was smaller and more homely than the others. I loved the freskos and they were so colorful.







Look, a beautiful rune stone!



We decided that 3 of the 4 round churches were enough for us. But we really liked it.



Time to see red…This is the village Boderne, where the houses are painted in red.





Even at the port the houses were red.





Our last stop was at the Østre Sømark Havn. Look at the name of the ship.



There were nice long beaches.





We gazed at the fisher houses.





People still work here as fishermen.

Hello Mum and Dad,

Today we went to Almindingen – it is the fifthbiggest woodland of Denmark. First we went to the Ekkodalen.



It was so beautiful here.









The path was very steep – so we decided not to walk on it.



Then we went to the point, where you here the echo.



Next to it was a spring.



Then we went to the Gambleborg.



The way was long and exhausting – and unfortunately there was not much to find of the old castle.







But back at the carpark we stopped for a delicious licorice ice-cream.



We continued to the highest point of Bornholm – Rytterknægten.



The view wasn't that great.





I really preferred the lake not far away – the Borgesoe.



It was next to the fortress Lilleborg.







It was nice here.

Hello Mum and Dad,

We found a great place – called Slaus Stene. A farmer worked as an artist here – this is a self-portrait of him.



This was one of his first artworks – a card of Bornholm.



We were excited - we visited this fortress at the start of our holiday.



I loved this troll.



This one was scary.



Surely he created a round church. It was so nice here.



Later we went to Arnager. The Danish love their flag. You see it everywhere.



But we were here for another reason – the longest pier of Denmark.


Surely we walked all the 200 meters to the end.



The view was beautiful.
