Hi Mum and Dad,

look  behind me – you see Denmark's highest waterfall – Dondalen.



It wasn't that impressive – but it was a nice walk to reach it.



Here you see the small river, behind the waterfall.



I found a really big mushroom.



The bear's garlic bloomed.





We liked it here.

Hi Mum and Dad,

Svaneke shall be one of the most beautiful towns in Denmark. Well – this bay looked nice.



There were 4 chimneys of a smokehouse. This is typical for Bornholm.



The market place.



There were some old and colorful houses.



Then we walked to the port.







Svaneke is a nice small town – but hopefully not the most beautiful town of Denmark…





It was time to show our holiday home. It was big enough for all of us here.



A great living-room…



…and a nice kitchen.



Do you know what this is? It was the start of a wasps' nest



These were our favourite places – we could sit here and watch TV, or turn around and look into the beautiful garden.

Hi Mum and Dad,

Today we want to see a big balanced rock. There are some of it on Bornholm, but we wanted to go to  the most famous one.



The way was nice, but long.



There is the Rokkestenen. This big boulder is under nature protection since 1894.





I took a photo with people on it, because you can see how big the boulder is. I wasn't strong enough to let it move.

Hi Mum and Dad,

Our next stop was Balka. It has a long beach.



I visited the small harbor.





Then I went to the beach. We had to balance over this water.



Some people lie in the sun or went into the water.



It was a nice place.

Hello Mum and Dad,

Snogebæk had a pier to the harbor, but it was only 100 meters long.

This view was beautiful.



But I liked these small houses.



This was funny.



Ugh, a factory for cod liver.



This house was so funny – its roof was a boat.

Hello Mum and Dad,

I am in Canada  - we started in Toronto. Behind me you see the Fairmont Hotel. It is very large.



But I want to go there – the CN Tower.





We took a very fast elevator and went into a nice restaurant. You can sit and eat – and see different parts of Toronto, because it revolves.







Look – the Fairmont Hotel. Now it looks small.



I was so brave. You have a glass bottom high on the tower. I sat on it and saw in the deep. 





Wow – I have been there. Only glass between me and the ground.



There was the Roundhouse near to the Tower.



This loco was beautiful.



Locos were stored here in the Past – and with this platform they could reach the rails.



We saw some old housees – this was the Osgoode Hall.





Behind me you see the new town hall. Well – new? It is from 1965.



I like this photo.



This is the old town hall – I like it more than the new one. Maybe I am a little old-fashioned.





Back in the hotel I wanted a photo in the lobby – the big chess pieces are great!



And I liked our room.





We felt like kings.



In the evening we got chocolate.



You see the 150 everywhere in Canada this year – it stands for the 150th birthday of Canada.

Hello Mum and Dad,

It was hot in Toronto – very high temperature. Nevertheless we wanted to see something. This is one of the most beautiful churches in Toronto – the St.-James-Kathedrale.



I liked the interior, too.





Look – the St. Lawrence Market.



Then we arrived at the Distillery District. Here you see many industrial buildings out of the Victorian time.  Many bridal pairs come to this place to take photos. Maybe this is the reason for this heart.

Well – it looked like it was in the Past – only the high buildings were not here in that time.





This house was so beautiful.



Can you see, what this is? Right – so many padlocks, put here by pairs in love. You can see things like this all over the world, I think.



The Distillery District is famous for movies or commercials. Today it was a commercial for Pizza.



It was exciting - I met a player of Toronto's baseball team.

Hello Mum and Dad,

We were in a nice small town – called Niagara on the Lake. We took a nice walk. Our first stop - St. Vincent Church.



Near to it there was the St.Mark's Church.



Other old houses.





This one wasn't old, but beautiful.


   
Behind me you see the bell tower and the old court house.



There were some colorful houses in the town.





The Angel Inn ist Canadas oldest Inn, that still has guests.



On the way to a nice viewpoint we crossed a golf course. I had to watch out for golfers.



Luckily no golf ball hit me. So I was able to visit the Fort Missisauga.





This way looked exciting.



A nice view over the Lake Ontario to Toronto.



Another Fort – it is the Fort George.





We saw it later from a nearer point – it looked beautiful.

Hello Mum and Dad,

What a beautiful place. I visit the Niagara-Falls. Behind me you see the US-Fall.



There is the Canadian fall – it seems to be wider.



It looked so beautiful!



We went behind the falls – well – this view wasn't that exciting. But it was very loud – and I felt the power of the water.



Then we went onto a great viewing-platform.





It was very wet – you see the people with the yellow ponchos. Thank you Rike that you took photos, although your camera got wet…



Well –the camera was dry again – the lense was cleaned. Now I am on a boat. This was the US-waterfall.



And the Canadian – we went nearer to it. Really near – but we were not able to take photos there, because it was too wet.



A photo of both falls. I had a lot of fun here.



Our last stop were the rapids. The walk was called White Water Walk – and the view was so beautiful.
 


I learnt about rapids – there are 6 grades for it. These have the number 6 – the most dangerous rapids.


   
You cannot see on the photo, how fast the water moved.



It was a great day here.

Hi Mum and Dad,

We were in Kingston and took a tour in this beautiful Trolley.



We went into it.



We had a great view over Kingston.



There was a lot of water everywhere.



A beautiful church.



Only houses out of stone are allowed here – after many fires in the Past.





I really liked this building.



Another big church.



You see locos in many places in Canada.



But this one was the best – and I was allowed to drive it.



The town hall.



There are many of these towers here – they belonged to the defense.



And surely I need lighthouses in my holidays.

We live in this nice manor at the moment.

Maybe the frog was the landlord? He sat in front of the house.

We went inside – beautiful. And the balloons were great!

We went on a boot – and visited the 1000 Islands.
It was fun – we saw nice houses. And a wonderful castle.

We went to Upper Canada Village. Many old houses are here – we saw many of it.

Today I visited Ottawa. I saw the Centre Block on Parliament Hill, the National War Memorial in downtown Ottawa, the National Gallery of Canada and the Rideau Canal and Château Laurier.

Hello Mum and Dad,

We went into the Gatineau Park. First we stopped at the Pink Lake. Then we continued to the Mackenzie King Estate – the home of the 10th premier of Canada. We saw nice houses, a beautiful lake, a funny ruin and a beautiful water fall there.
