Day two of Naka-Kon, and Columbus enjoyed hanging out in the hotel room between events! The host family was so excited to have won an award in the cosplay contest!

It was the last day of Naka-Kon. So sad to say goodbye. We went and took one last look at the dealer's room!

It snowed, so Snakiey and I went outside to play. We found plants peeking through the snow!

Host mom and her daughter finished sewing a skirt for the daughter (that matches Anastaysia's dress), so we tried it on!

It was lovely outside, so the host family took me and the other TVs for a ride in the countryside! It isn't quite spring yet, but there are signs that it will be here soon!

Columbus couldn't resist trying on the dress that host mom made for her littlest daughter. Host mom says she has one more to make, so that the girls can be matching dark angels in a play they are practicing for.

Host mom was sewing again today... all the TVs gathered around to see what she'd done to this black hoodie. Hiding in the pockets were little zombies, whose pocket homes on the hoodie make them toys who will do a lot of traveling!

After four days in my travel envelope, I have finally arrived at my destination in New Jersey, greeted by my new host, Spac the Bear!
I immediately got to meet some of Spac's friends. They are tree-sloths named Grimace and Pumice. They're like family to Spac and though they don't live here, they're staying with him for a while.
It was already evening when Spac got home from work and got me out of my envelope, so there was not much to do except have some dinner. We shared a plate of asparagus with black beans and corn. Spac is a vegetarian. Who's ever heard of a vegetarian bear??
I had such fun in Kansas with Mami Tig and I am sure that new adventures await me here in New Jersey. I'm so excited, but for now, we'll call it a day.

Happy Leap Day!
It's my first full day in New Jersey and it snowed! Only for a little while though, then it turned to rain.
Today, Spac took me to this big office building where he works.
There, I met another one of his friends, a bunny named Nibbly, who likes to help Spac at the office. Soon, I was helping, too!
Then I met Patch, a friend of one of Spac's co-workers. This place is very toy friendly. I'm sure I'll fit right in.
Coffee break!
We tried to get a photo of the snow coming down outside the window from the office, but it was hard to see. But it really was snowing!! Oh well, maybe it'll snow again soon.
Spac told me that it has been an unusually mild winter here and that it only snowed one other time so far this winter. Typically, he said, they're covered in snow and ice during the month of February with temperatures between -5C and 0C, but not this year. It has been consistently between 0C and 10C.
After work, Spac got a call from his friend, Lee (@LeelandGugler), who suggested going out for dinner and drinks. So we went to Spac's favorite local restaurant/bar Maggie's Town Tavern.
We drank beer and ate pizza and eggplant and had a great time.
But it started to get late and eventually, it was time to go home. Spac tucked me in nicely on the guest sofa before going to bed in his room and we all went to sleep. Night night!
