...because Noisy has to work so long we TVs collected a lot of things in the house, all things were yellow. Look, what we have found:



This yellow seed we want to plant in the garden



we found this funny sign, it shows allways the right way 



...and...

GustavHH and I looked for yellow flowers....and found them 





our cup of today is blue ;-)

Before I have to leave for my next adventure, we were allowed to help Noisy making eggnog.

We took 12 eggs from her chicken
and put the yellow of the eggs in a big bowl.
Than we sifted the powdered sugar and a little bit vanillesugar.
Than we must mix it looooong time to be very creamy.
Now we poured in the Cognac and the whipped cream.
After that we put the bowl into the refrigerator for about 2 hours , than we could have  a nip ( uiuiui) and poured it into little bottles.

Mom, I will send one of it to you, okay?

Uuuuuooooaaaaa, what a horrible trip...
I was sitting in my travelbox, ready to go to iloveletters, Noisy gave the box to her son. He should bring it to the post-office, but he forgot it ....And he drove soooo fast, and my box was shaking all the days...
Today Noisy found my box and brought me on my way!

Hello mommy!

Well after the troubles on my journey I finally arrived in Thuringia today.

I was welcomed by Claire Tamias and Voi Nam , two TVs staying here as well.











There were many presents I brought with me and my new host says 'THANK YOU' to Noisy!

My first excursion brought me to Gotha, a town about 15 kilomters from Mechterstädt.

Gotha is very old and its history dates back to the 8th century.

I saw the castle Friedenstein which was built by Ernst I of
Saxe-Gotha (later Altenburg), "The Pious",  in the 17th century.



Down castle  hill towards the city center I saw these beautiful wells ('Wasserkunst').







And the red town hall looks very nice too. It used to be a department store.



And then I came across this Pyramide. I thought that it is strange to
find a pyramide here in Thuringia. The secret is that it is a tomb for
Marshall Studnitz who had it built in his garden.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

We visited my host mom's parents and had tea time with cakes.



The garden is very green and in the background you can see the town church.

Hello from Eisenach!

We went there today. It is about 15km from the village and my host goes there quite often. Today she showed me a little of the town famous for Luther and Bach.

We started at the Bach House, a museum today. You can see the old part where Johann Sebastian Bach was supposedly born. A new house was added some time ago.











Then we went to the Luther House, where Martin Luther lived when he was a school child. It is a museum today, too.





We carried on and went to the market square with the Georgen Church and the town hall and the town castle.
Eisenach is a nice town!

Today we went to Erfurt (which is the state capital of Thuringia) for a marching band contest.
It took place at Erfurt Fair.





I look at the map to see where all the bands come from.







And then we listened to and watched the band in the contest.

Today I went to the little garden plot of my host. There are nice flowers and lots of veggies growing.

A new addition to my host family:

This little kitten moved in today! He is soooo cute!
