Sauerland, Germany - 1st February 2012
By: EbCo
Hey mummy!
I finally arrived at my first host. You can't imagine what a horrible trip I had. For so many days I sat inside my package and had to wait until I get delivered. It must have been -30°C I guess.
Hostmum and hostdad told me that the maildeliverer wasn't able to find their home - little stupid . Just good that you put me into a warm box.
After my hostparents opened the box all the other toys came to appreciate me. And guess what? There's another TV called Jezyk He instantly jumped into my box to warm me up.
It's already late and I will go to bed now. The other Toys promised to sing a lullaby so I hope not to get nightmares after that horror-trip.
Love
Schnatterchen
P.S. Hostmum and hostdad were very happy about the presents I made

Sauerlandpark - Hemer, Germany - 5th February 2012
By: EbCo
Hello Mum.
Today we went out for a walk to the "Sauerlandpark". In 2010 it was originally the "Landesgartenschau". On the highest point of the park you can see a huge tower called "Jübergturm". From there you can have a beautiful look over the whole city.
But sadly when we reached the park we realized that it was closed
We tried to get it in at all entrances (there are 3 of them) - no chance.
In the end I was quite happy we couldn't take a walk up to the tower. Hostmum and hostdad told us that we should have to walk up 343 steps to the foot of the tower and the tower itself consists of 125 steps
Oh, oh, oh, mommy!!! Do you know what I found on our way home? A HUGE (!!!!) duck. I asked my hostparents to take a photo with it!

Sauerland, Germany - 8th February 2012

Hi Mommy!
Ouh, that was a day yesterday. I still don't feel very well.
Yesterday it was the birthday of one of the other toys - "Siske de Rat"
First it was a very civilised birthday party but I guess that Siske de Rat served us some "Pharisäer" - you know, the coffee with rum and cream. I think so because after a few minutes I became little dizzy and the last I can remember that we drank a glass of whine. But when I look at the photos I guess it was more than one glass.
I tell you - this night was not my most recreative night
I promise I won't ever drink alcohol again
suppliantly your

Sauerland, Germany - 22nd February 2012
By: EbCo
Hi mum.
Today my hostparents visited their doughter. She also has a TV called Dolivia.
We will spend the night at theirs because she promised to take us to her work tomorrow
We came just in time. They wanted to clean the rodent cage. Jezyk tried to catch the Lemming with a fishing net. Dolivia and I showed him the box which we would catch it with.
When we finished it was already so late that we decided to go to bed. It will become an exciting day tomorrow I guess
Love

Hemer, Germany - 25th February 2012

Hello mommy.
As promised, we were allowed to visit my hostmum at her work.
First of all we had a little anatomy lesson. It took us a while because it is quite much to learn - all the bones and muscles.
After the anatomy lesson we were allowed to make a little break. So we had time to make a little soccer match and to take a ride on a small red pony before the training could start.
At the end of the day each of us got a massage - that was so relaxing.
On Monday we make a short holiday in the Netherlands. I am so excited - I can't wait till it's monday.

Iserlohn, Sauerland - 26th February 2012
By: Maik(i)
Dear Mommy.
"Hostmummy for a while" had a little surprise for us before we went with her parents to the Netherlands.
Today we went to an icehockeymatch of the local "Iserlohn Roosters".
They played versus "Nürnberg Ice Tigers".
And of course the hometeam won 5:0.
I would love to have made more photos but the players were too fast. Now my voice is little groaky because we were screaming so loud to cheer for the Roosters. But that won't stop me to pack my luggage for the trip.
You will hear more when I'm back.
Love

Hey Mum.
Sorry that I write so late but my hostparents were very busy.
We had a very nice holiday but sadly the camera broke so we just could take one single photo :-(
Hostmum and hostdad taught us how to swim and how to fish.
What a pitty.

Hey mom.
Today is my last day in "Sauerland". I have to leave but I don't really wan't to. Klaus-Bärbel, Jezyk and I became really good friends and I would love to see them again once in time. Before I crawled into my postbox the two of them hugged me so lovely that I started to cry. Klaus-Bärbel and Jezyk also came in but my hostparents took them out again because Jezyk also had to leave.
Well I must say I'm really really sad to leave but I am also very happy to come home again to see my real mum which I love soooo much.
See you soon, mommy.
Love

Remscheid, at home, Germany - 7th April 2012

Hi Mummy,
Hi Mummy,
Katja asked me and two other girls, Creamsheep and Shooga to help baking a torte. First we looked for a receipe in a book.
We planned to make a buttercream torte, so we decided to make a cake with almonds first.
We needed eggs, wheat flour, sugar, ground almonds, butter and baking soda.
First we had to stir the creamy butter with sugar, than the eggs were added, later flour and baking soda.
We filled the dough into the prepared baking pan. As it seemed to be too much dough, we also made five cupcakes.
After 30 minutes baking the cakes were ready.
Tomorrow we will decorate the torte and take it with us to Katja's sister to celebrate Easter.
Bye
