This is Kikuchan a previous winner of Voyager of the Week.
We chose Kikuchan this week because her journey has got off to such a spectacular start - it's amazing what these ToyVoyagers can achieve in such a short space of time. Kiku left home (Takamatsu in Japan) on 22nd Feb 2010 and by 12 March had visited no less than four of the world's capital cities, picking up some top quality sight-seeing photos in the process.
First stop was Moscow, Russia to check out Red Square and St Basil's Cathedral. Next up was Barcelona to see Gaudi's famous architecture, followed by Paris for the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysee and Le Louvre; then Amsterdam's famous canals before finally heading back to Russia to continue exploring Moscow.
So congratulations to Kikuchan, her mentor Hanuchan and host-with-the-most TaisAfinskaia. We have enjoyed the whistle-stop tour of these great cities, and look forward to more in the future.
