This is Boone Raccoon a previous winner of Voyager of the Week.
Boone Raccoon travels with his best friend and travelling companion Beak the Duck.
They have been travelling as ToyVoyagers since 29th June 2007, so around eight months now. In this time, they have managed to journey for over 11,000 miles!
Boone and Beak have seen some of the UK: they have worked their socks off at ToyVoyagersCentral, helped with exam marking, visited the Peak District and the beaches of Tyneside. They have toured Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and Gatsehead, been 'up close' to a beautiful seal, and seen the impressive Angel of the North statue which looks over, and guards, the County of Tyne and Wear.
From chilly North-East England, they travelled to a much warmer welcome: Australia. Visiting Becka_Kate, Boone and Beak have seen the wonders of Sydney - including the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
They enjoyed a party there (we really must make fairy bread - as soon as possible!) and then went onto party with Prowl_Worshipper too (ditto making lamingtons - they look yum!), and are now with Emmicoa in Western Australia.
Boone and Beak started on their journey by Tess, on behalf of her granddaughter Wendy, who, at the time, was very unwell. Thankfully Wendy is much improved now, and her ToyVoyagers have kept travelling for her, allowing her to see parts of the world, and enjoy her toys' adventures online.
We hope to see Boone and Beak's further adventures soon, and look forward to reading their observations about life, the world, playparks and parties, for many years to come.
